Como Metropolitan London has one of the best locations in Central London in Mayfair overlooking Hyde Park. It has been my first choice during my stays in London over many years. The rooms are very clean and spacious with a modern look. The Shambhala spa is very good and the iconic world famous Nobu restaurant is at Como hotel. Most importantly, the staff of the hotel is very kind and professional. Its general manager Mr Javier Beneyto has been working at Como hotel for some time and he is very dedicated to his job. The newly appointed director Ms Kriti Sahabandu is always around to look after the guests and fulfill their needs.
Well this stay started on a bad note when I was given a room that did not match the room I had booked nor the description on the website, this issue was quickly and professionally dealt with by Roland, couldn't fault his service, outstanding. My room had a lovely view over Mayfair, thank you again Roland. The room was wonderfully appointed, the bed comforable and the bathroom was so so luxurious. A lovely touch was the pastries in my room on arrival, and the room service was also very prompt and the food lovely. All staff that I encountered were polite and professional. The hotel is in a fantastic area and within walking distance of many tourist attractions, supermarket, cafes, restaurants and transport. I treated myself to a car service to the airport organised by the hotel and so pleased I did. Overall a good stay and I would certainly stay here again.…
Overall wonderful experience. The room was excellent for the price. The front desk was helpful. They walked us up to the room the first time and helped with getting a taxi the next morning. I would recommend for anyone. The only downside was that we didn't have the greatest of views.
We‘ve spent five days in the COMO and can totally recommend this hotel. The employees from reception to concierge treated us so kindly throughout the whole time and surprised us for our annyversarie with a little welcome gift. The hotel such as the rooms were very clean and I highly recommentd to book a room with a park view. There‘s nothing berter than returning from a cold sightseeing day and have a nice view after a warm shower. It’s also located at a very good spot. 15 minutes walk aways from the main shopping street “Oxford street“, 15 minutes walk to Picadilly Circus, the same with the Buckingham palace and the main Subway line „Picadilly Line“ is running every 3-4 minutes from the nearby Subway Station called „Hyde Park Corner“. So wherever you wanna go to, it‘s easy to reach from there. We‘d definitiely return one day, whenever we‘d go back to London. A special thanks to Mr W. from the reception, for taking such good care of us!…
The Como hotel in London is from far the best i have been getting in years in London. Spending my time between Portugal and London i have tried over 30 hotels in London but since a year I only stay at the Como. The staff is lovely and helpful. The location is top notch exactly between Mayfair and Knighbridge. The room are extremely high standard for London. They are pretty large and the quality of the bed are brilliant. Finally the view over the Park is stunning! Welldone to all your team! I highly recommend it to anyone who is in London for work or leisure.
Me and my Wife stayed here for 2 nights for our Wedding Anniversary and was blown away by the staff and how welcoming everyone was. We was upgraded to a City Suite and was left Strawberries covered in Chocolate on a Slate wishing us Happy Anniversary which was a nice touch. Room was excellent lots of room and the most comfortable bed and pillows I’ve ever had at a Hotel. We had Breakfast both days which was fantastic. Would 100% recommend this Hotel for location and Staff you’ll struggle to find better. I’m sure we’ll be back. KR Mr Keefe.
Good friends took us to this hidden away gem. Between the 6 of us we had most things on the menu. Everyone commented on the taste and quality of the food. The service was impeccable and discreet. Recommended.
Pro's: - comfortable bed - clean - excellent service - very good breakfast Con's: - someone tried to pick pocket me right outside of the hotel when returning from dinner (realize this is out of the hotel's control)
Tonight, I had one of the best French meals I’ve had for a very long time! Staying at this charming and well staffed Hotel which is so well placed for all one’s needs in central London… Little did I realise the added bonus of a pop-up French restaurant in the comfortable restaurant and bar close to the entrance of the Metropolitan. Cooked by a really superb Spanish chef, Ruben Briones, dinner was a total delectable surprise. I started with a very original and delicious Salade Niçoise. The Boeuf Bourguignon in a perfect sauce was accompanied by truffled mash and the yummiest winter vegetables. I seldom eat puddings, the persuasive Ruben suggested a traditional Brittany butter cake – “Kouign Amann” - truly ecstasy on a plate accompanied by a delicate but refreshing cider sorbet. I don’t write reviews on TripAdvisor very often but today is one of celebration to find a restaurant, chef and food Which go way beyond the extra mile to give one a thoroughly enjoyable and delicious dinner. Many, many thanks to everyone at the taste of Le bistro at Como Metropolitan. Philip Daubeny…
