Booked this Hotel due to location as attending a music gig at Finsbury Park, 5 minutes walk from Paddington train station, and then 3-4 minutes to get to nearest Tube Station. Room was nice but bathroom needed updating. Continental breakfasy very basic. Staff friendly enough and looked after bags for us while we toured London during the day. If you...

We stayed here on May 18th of this year while on a birthday visit to the Albert Hall. When we arrived, we were given the key to a room, which once we reached it (up five flights of stairs) we discovered that it was occupied. Went all the way back downstairs to notify the guy who said he had made...

I booked 2 x Superior rooms a week before our intended arrival date. I requested that both rooms be guaranteed for possible late arrival. I also requested a parking space. On arrival at the hotel the guests that I had booked in were told that the hotel was fully booked and that there was no parking available. Payment was taken...

I fly from Sweden to London once a month and usually book my hotels last minute. I booked the Pavilion about a week before I arrived. I usually get small hotels in the Paddington or Victoria area as they are fairly close to where I work. I read the reviews about the Pavilion and thought that I may have made...

Now, I was expecting the worst. I was expecting a cheesy, sleazy flea pit. It is not this at all, in fact you really do have to appreciate the thought that has gone into it. It does have its pluses and minuses and you have to work out if this is the kind of thing you are looking for. The...

I'll get the negative comment out of the way and that was the wi-fi network didn't work very well, it could have been weak due to me staying on the top floor. Right, now I got that out..on to the positives. The location is perfect with Paddington Station roughly 5 minutes away, the reception staff were friendly, the hotel overall...

Location: top value. I had booked the "Enter the Dragon" room. Arrived out of an icy-cold day to an equally temperatured room. Said I couldn't take it. The guy was very helpful. Informed me the rooms on the street side were all in a system they could not keep at a reasonable temperature. Took me to a smaller, but for...

Found it just by chance. My train to Cardiff was delayed by FOUR HOURS! & I would have missed my connection so I wandered around looking for digs and found this little gem. It's small and there's no lift so if your travelling heavy-weight be warned. There's only one staff member but he was friendly & helpful. He also does...

This place is dirty, the staff are rude and intimidating. The room is noisy. The traffic outisde is loud. The area is seedy (think prostitution). The breakfast is inedible. Please don't think this is a fashion hotel that celebrities stay in, a celebrity wouldn't let their dogs stay in this place and neither should you. WORST HOTEL I'VE EVER SEEN

Firstly, they "had no record" of my booking despite numerous confirmation emails, then we were given a disgusting damp room and when we requested to be moved the staff firstly ignored us and then became aggressive, there was a pornographic DVD in the player in our room which at one point staff members burst into the room to retrieve, personal...

“The Metallica Room, in the basement had no hot water. Although the room was heated, the tile floor, in December, is very cold for bare feet. The private WC outside the room is unheated and very cold. But besides that, it was fine. Bed is pretty squeaky but very comfortable.”
