Book the Rooks Nest suite — it's ridiculous (in a really, really good way). Two storeys, with the ceiling in between sliding open at the touch of a button; views of St Paul's; the craziest bath-shower contraption I've ever seen; brilliantly weird old books everywhere;...More
Nice rooms, classic furniture and decoration
Some people have mentioned that the rooms lack enough light. That is not my opinion.
Breakfast is served in the room. That's is cozy, especially for couples.
There is no restaurant. But meals are served in the room. Meals...More
We found the hotel very charming and full of character. The style is Classic with wonderful and original paintings on the wall and the service is great and helpful. However, they are missing some amenities that the Boutique Hotels are offering. The rooms are small...More
This hotel oozes charm and the staff could not be friendlier or more helpful. Our room was stunningly beautiful fitted as all the hotel with period furniture. Considering we are in the centre of London and only minutes away from Farringdon Station, it was so...More

Owing to its proximity to Smithfield Market – the site of an ancient meat market which remains in operation today – Clerkenwell boasts a plethora of globally renowned restaurants, fabulous local eateries, and some of London's favorite pubs. This isn't merely a focal point for all things foodie though. Spend enough time wondering through the area's maze of streets and you might become accustomed to the litany of slinky
models passing between Clerkenwell's handful of fashion houses. Far outnumbering the models are craftspeople and designers, many of them are more than happy to welcome visitors into their studios and showrooms.
I don' think the hotel has a designated parking area, but I am sure you can check on the internet for parking garages in the area (Smithfield Market). Of course the parking may cost more than the room!
