I stayed in Room No 167 on 17th Aug. I never checked in until around 9.45pm and went straight up to my room. The noise from the large commercial fan outside of my room was very loud. It went quieter the later in the evening it got and then went extremely loud the next morning. I have taken a video of the room to get an indication as to the level of the sound. The rooms also come with no air conditioning which is fine but when you cannot open the window due to the fan nose it isn't acceptable. On a positive note friendly efficient staff on reception.
Wow, I've been a vegan for 3 years, and I have to day this hotel is so inclusive. I went for the Faulty Tower dinner show, and they had vegan options for everything. And it was all cooked by a professional chef and tasted AMAZING. If you're vegan this is definitely recommended, and their staff was so helpful and went out of their way to accommodate us. Loved visiting, I came visiting from California.
Three and half stars is very generous review for this hotel. Rooms were outdated and dingy. Toilet hardly flushed at all. Bed was rock hard. Taking a shower made the room unbearably hot as there was no proper ventilation. Had to keep window open all night. For a light sleeper the noise from outside might be too much. Location is good and breakfast was ok. Hotel probably works best for 1 night stay for a couple or someone travelling alone. Wouldn’t ever choose the hotel again with family.
Very good food, excellent show. Very friendly staff, good cocktails. We enjoyed a good night with the family, they had good organization at the event, I would definitely visit this hotel again. Amazing 🤩
The President Hotel is well maintained and offers good service. It is value for money given its location in central London. Breakfast is of a high standard and is plentiful. If you cannot make the TV work - like me - remember to turn on the switch by the bed!
We booked a two day theatre break to see only fools and horses the musical. The hotel was in a nice central location friendly staff however it needs some improvement. The bedroom was tastefully decorated but the double bad was too small not very comfortable the TV proved to complicated to operate there was no air conditioning so a fan was supplied. The windows should be allowed to open wider as the room was too hot especially at night and the toilet took a lot of pressure to flush properly In addition to this meal deals should be in place for breakfast and evening meals as paying £30 00 for breakfast is in my opinion a lot and equally paying over £50 for a evening meal is just as bad On the whole a lovely hotel but needs to be improved in areas.
4 night stay was good. Many thanks to Yasin for transferring me to a better room when I was suffering from heat on the top floor. Hotel standards are good and the hotel is very convenient and central for shows, buses tubes etc
Went to the faulty towers dinner show and it was lovely!! The starter, entree and dessert were all delicious 😋 and their vegan/vegetarian options were also wonderful , some of the best veggie fine dining I've had in London. Would definitely come back for dinner here ! The show was very funny and entertaining.
From check in to departure all staff were polite, approachable and efficient, they even had a smile on their face. Whole hotel very clean. Breakfast very good. Location is excellent, 3 minutes from Holborn station. Considering you are in London it was fairly quiet. Nice square/gardens nearby to walk around. Would definitely stay again.
We stayed at the hotel for five nights - six days in total. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was pretty okay but not something special. The rooms looked nice, but it was so hot we could barely sleep at all because there isn’t any air conditioning. The pressure in the shower were too much, because water got all over the place and there wasn’t any ventilation in the bathroom, and also no pressure in the toilet so it could barely flush toilet paper. While we stayed there we found something that look like bed bug bites on our bodies. We talked to a doctor who confirmed that it proably are bed bug bites. Overall proably wouldn't recommend other people to choose this hotel.
