This hotel has such an awesome atmosphere. The staff are excellent - we’ve stayed here 3 times now and it’s been the same every time. Decor is fabulous and so decadent. We have family who lives in Shoreditch and it is a great place to stay when we are in London. For a huge chain like Hilton, this hotel feels like an independent residence. It’s brilliant here and I’d definitely recommend staying here.

This hotel has a modern contemporary design which is appealing. Both the communal areas and the rooms are a high standard of decor and design. We stayed in a junior suite which was a larger room with a seating area and extra tv opposite this area. There was plenty of storage and wardrobe space in the room something I have found lacking before in London hotels.
The room has a modern bathroom with shower, complimentary toiletries and tea/coffee. There was a bottle of wine included in the room which was a nice touch. There is also air conditioning which was a welcome relief in 28 degree heat. The Hilton is only offering room cleaning on request as part of its COVID protocols but this was provided without issue on request.
We paid for an advance rate including breakfast and this was the only let down. Breakfast is served in the restaurant Barboun. There was a supplementary £5 charge for one of the larger cooked items such as a cooked breakfast. This seemed a bit mean as if you pay for breakfast which isn’t specified as continental only I would expect to be able to have a full cooked breakfast included. They offered two menu items from the smaller sections and tea/coffee/juice inclusive in the price. The option to have either two items or one larger breakfast dish without a surcharge would seem fairer to me. If you didn’t want the two smaller courses you would end up paying the supplement irrespective. The breakfast was also a let down, the scrambled egg on toast was inedible it was literally liquid and extremely undercooked. The second morning the fried eggs were the opposite and rock hard. The location is great close to the tube on the Northern line and close to Shoreditch high street. There is a good choice of bars and restaurants close by. I would recommend and would stay again but would skip paying for breakfast and eat at one of the nearby cafes or restaurants.

I have stayed at this hotel twice. I like it very much, the design is excellent and thoughtful. The staff are friendly and enthusiastic and yet the hotel still retains a cosy and welcoming feel. The location is good for the city and east London markets and a short tube ride from the center.
The rooms have a nice design with a warm colour palate. The room has a great Marshall bluetooth speaker and a TV you can cast to. The toiletries come in large containers which is welcome step in decreasing plastic usage. The bathrooms have a nice design, however most of them do not have bathtubs which seems to be a choice hilton/curio are making on most of their new properties - Lincoln Plaza for example. The rooms which do feature baths, while beautiful to look at are rendered almost unusable by the impractically low overflows. A bathtub is important for me when I stay in a hotel, although I understand I may be in a growing minority.
The hotel restaurant - Barboun - has a great design, a short and high quality breakfast menu and excellent service. I did not get the chance to try it for dinner or lunch however I'm sure it is a welcome addition to a great food scene in the area.
Overall I really like this hotel and would recommend it to people visiting London, I would personally return in a Hartbeat :)

The Curio Collection at Shoreditch feels aimed at millennials interested in location over service provision, but needs to focus more on the individual character of their hotel to make it less of a showroom.
My husband and I stayed in a king deluxe room on the 5th floor on a Sunday night and were leaving before breakfast started at 6.30am. We asked if there were any offerings we could have earlier (pastries or similar).
A front of house team member tried to arrange something but unfortunately it wasn’t possible because there wouldn’t be any kitchen staff available earlier. Whilst there’s an argument to say the food offering should be more flexible, I was impressed by the effort put in to try and accommodate us.
Barboun is a Turkish restaurant within the hotel which is run by a third party. The menu had a mix of small mezze options to share or larger plates. It was excellent quality and served quickly.

This was my very first visit to London and in the United Kingdom in general. First I would like to talk about the area. As I have not been in London before, when we first arrived in Shoreditch I saw many people with colorful outfits and a lot of art, displayed everywhere so you cannot walk around without noticing the graffiti of people, music, and random shapes. It did not feel as corporate as I expected it to be. The hotel - When we arrived at the property, I was delightedly surprised how this hotel looks from the inside because I have been in Hilton hotels and their interior does not look like this one. There were people in the lobby/bar area enjoying a cup of tea or coffee. We were happy with our room, but my wife was wondering if they had a room with a bathtub so we decided to try our luck and ask for an upgrade. The receptionist Julian was very polite and helpful as he said that he will have a look for us and shortly he found us an upgrade. Our luggage was transferred by the reception team to our new room and as we returned from our walk through Shoreditch, we went directly into the new room, which was bigger and had a nicer view. The restaurant's food was nice, the service was on point, and the food looked nice. We were taken care of very well. To summarize - the location of this hotel is very convenient as there any nearby underground stations. The interior matches the area's vibe and the service is good. The only issue we experienced was that the water was warm, but not hot enough for a shower, but despite that, we will definitely visit again.

Stayed here this weekend with friends, Lovely clean modern room and comfy bed. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful.
Kindly upgraded to a superior room as my partner has status with Hilton which was on the top floor facing the main road. Room was really nice but there was a lot of noise until the early hours with sirens, noisy cars and motorbikes etc that my sleep was really disturbed. If I stayed there again I'd ask for a room the other side of the hotel though my friends had a room that side and said they had a really bright green light on in their room all night.
Also both parties told water in room but there was none so housekeeping should ensure this is correct before guests get to rooms.

My partner and I, plus my best friend decided to take a chance on this newly opened Hilton hotel for our holidays in London this year. We absolutely loved the whole feel of this place; it is an designer gem. The staff are dressed casual/comfortably, but couldn't be nicer. They assisted us when we had an issue with our room, made dinner reservations, and frequently asked if there was anything they could do for us. Breakfast was worth every pound and then some; modern, fresh, and delicious. Try the Banana Tahini Pancakes...YUM! The room was super stylish, modern, trendy, and clean. We loved the color scheme and found the room to be warm and inviting. Thank you for having a Nespresso machine and bathrobes in the room! The cleaning staff were beyond excellent and our room smelled so good every time we went in there. The bathroom was gorgeous and had full size toiletries; these were fantastic. We enjoyed the bar downstairs across the lobby and found the whole atmosphere to be so comfortable and delightful. We wished we could of stayed longer...and would definitely consider this hotel when in London.

Just returned from a last minute getaway to London. We booked a trip last Tuesday and flew out from the States on Thursday to surprise our son and daughter in law who live in East London. Given the timing I was concerned about availability and pricing. We often stay at Hilton properties so we searched several of those. The Hart Shoreditch was a great location for us, less than 1 mile from our son’s home and the room rate was incredible. We booked a queen room last minute for £130/night!
Overall impressions: super clean property, cool vibe, quiet and cool feel to the lobby. Friendly staff. Great location near several restaurants and safe, walkable neighborhood. The rooms are small by US standards but pretty normal for UK/European rooms. The decor is cool and hip.
Staff - super helpful with a special shout out to Jemima at the front desk. She checked us in and i had asked for early check in if possible since we were arriving from an overnight flight. We checked in just past noon and she made sure to put us in a room that was ready so we could get a shower and quick nap before our evening started. She was at the desk when we checked out and was just as helpful and friendly!
We didn’t eat at the restaurant downstairs but did hang out in the lobby bar one evening and service was quick and friendly. The bar is quieter than the bars/pubs in the surrounding neighborhood and makes for a great alternative to the louder venues nearby if you want to visit and relax.
Taxis and Uber are easy to get if needed. Tip: The thermostat works well but can be tricky to figure out so ask the front desk to explain at check in. If you come from Heathrow by taxi it will cost £80-100 depending on time.
I have nothing negative to say about this property and will definitely stay here again on my next trip!

Me and my boyfriend stayed at this hotel for one night and it was great! Checked in super easy and the lobby was really nice. Our room was spotless and they had notes on certain items (for example the TV remote) to show they had been cleaned properly. View could’ve been nicer but it didn’t bother us. There was lots to do nearby, we went to a few different bars and there was lots of restaurants to chose as well as cafes and food shops. Would definitely stay again!!

Per other guests feedback, I have been unable to use the shower or bath facilities at the hotel over the past two weeks. Any suggestion that the problem "has been rectified" simply isn't true... I was told as recently as this morning that "engineers have fixed at the problem" but the water in my room is currently still cold. Having been informed several times now that the issue has been resolved, I am now looking for alternative accommodation.
For anyone considering this hotel, I would strongly advise against it. Even budget offerings in the area can provide hot water!

Please accept our apologies that your stay was impacted due to issues with the water temperature. Unfortunately, we had experienced a technical issue which due to its complexity, required the coordination of several different engineers and technicians to investigate and remedy. Consequently, this process was ongoing for longer than expected as a complete and thorough analysis of our building management system was required and was outside the scope of our onsite team. I can confirm several modifications were successfully completed to ensure a consistent setup for our water temperatures and thus we do not anticipate any future problems. As you mentioned, the hotel team did advise once this had been resolved on the Thursday and this was verified by our chief engineer who went straight to your room after you informed front desk that the water was still cold. Temperature checks were conducted from all outlets with a thermometer and photographic evidence also taken which reconfirmed the issue was indeed fixed at the time of your discussion with reception. I would like to also take the opportunity to confirm the hotel has a strict health and safety protocol which is followed at all times. The hotel remains fully compliant of all legislation and has not fallen foul of any statutory requirements that require further action. Please be mindful that there are legal limits to the maximum temperatures that can be achieved from a bath/shower, however these are still sufficient to be considered as hot and not lukewarm. Regretfully on this occasion, there was a case of a technical issue outside of our scope which has now been rectified and resolved. I do fully appreciate however that this is not up to the standards expected and thus an appropriate rebate has been arranged as discussed with your office in separate conversations. Paul, I would like to thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback and I am happy to note that despite this, you were initially happy with the hotels response and other aspects of your stay. I would also like to thank you for your repeated custom the past few months. It is a real shame that despite your previous stays being issue free, this one did not go as anticipated. Our aim had been to make Hart Shoreditch your home away from home during your extended period with us. It is therefore disappointing for all parties involved that this was not possible.
