Really just hit the mark over and over. Comfortable beds. Dark rooms, great for jet lag. Good coffee and food downstairs. Great location, close to everything and 3 different train lines. Cost effective! I would consider just standing in the shower and letting all the stress wash away. Chic style it really is just fabulous.
A clean, nice, modern hotel with comfortable, decent-sized rooms, right next to Trafalgar Square, so ideally situated to visit a fair number of typical London landmarks by foot, but also ideally connected to both the underground and a fair number of bus lines. We were above all impressed with the superb sound isolation. With the windows of our third floor room opened, there was no denying the hotel's lively, busy location, with the murmur of vibrant city life providing an uplifting soundtrack, but as soon as we closed them, there was an immediate sense of peace and tranquillity. Both fairly large windows came with electrically operated blinds, that effectively shut out any light coming from the surrounding restaurants and businesses. The beds (ours was a twin room) were sturdy and comfortable, with crisp and clean duvet covers and large pillows. The room came with the usual amenities like a kettle, tea and coffee, and a minibar with water and soft drinks that was included in the room price, and was restocked daily. A large tv hung on the wall opposite the beds, and the wardrobe contained a small safe to store your valuables. The air conditioning worked a treat, keeping the room temperature at a very comfortable level throughout the night. An electrical air purifier stood in one corner of the room, quietly going about its business. The bathroom was practical, with the large shower cabin containing an excellent shower and a selection of pleasantly fragrant body wash, shampoo and conditioner. The impeccably white towels were large, soft and fresh. It all had quite a luxurious feel to it. All in all, we were very satisfied with our 3-night stay here, and would certainly recommend Page8 to people planning a city trip.…
Very nice Hotel in a prime location. Walking distance to most atractions, with the London tube close by. Room and bathroom are nicely decorated and very clean. Hotel staff were very nice and helpful, with every need. Will be my go-to Hotel in London.
Would 100% stay again. Welcome staff were very happy to help. Quick service. Room was available early which was great for us. Very clean and spacious room. Free water and cans of coke in the mini fridge. Location was fantastic for our needs. 100% would stay again. The only downside was the breakfast menu. I’m not a fan of salmon so didn’t tick my boxes. But fear not, there’s a McDonald’s about 2 mins away !
Had a wonderful stay at this quaint modern hotel. The deluxe double room was very clean and spacious and the bed was quite comfortable. Housekeeping did a great job making sure we were well supplied with everything we needed. Very generous minibar that was replenished daily! Great location right in the heart of London and easy access to the Tube. Every staff member we encountered was super helpful and friendly, would definitely come back!
Excellent amenities, kind and helpful front desk workers, tasty food options, excellent soundproofing of rooms, outstanding location. I really can’t find any faults with this hotel. If you are looking for a convenient location in a large city, this is it!
Comfortable beds, nice amenities. Held our bags until check-in time, which was very handy, then took them all to our room when it was ready. Loud, but that was part of the experience! Great location in the theater district, right next to Trafalgar Square. Only negative point: the shower drain backed up significantly. Had to pause shower to allow drainage. The hotel was beautiful, very clean, very accommodating.
Superb hotel, excellent comfort. Ideal location in the center of london : many places to visit or shop can be done on foot. I would like to give a special mention to the lovely staff, really sweet and attentive. Last tip : take breakfast, excellent value for money
If you are looking for the perfect location then look no further and stay at this hotel. The hotel is perfectly located near leicester square, and few minutes walk from Soho, Hyde Park, big ben,and London eye. The rooms are super clean and have good isolations from the street’s noise. Not to mention the staff who are very lovely, professional, and helpful
I honestly cannot fault this hotel in any way. On arrival there was a very short 10 minute wait on our room and the staff were profusely apologetic and offered us a complimentary drink while we waited. The room was definitely the cleanest room I have ever stayed in. It was spotless, everything you needed was there. The tv was a good size and the beds were so comfy (I need to know where to buy those pillows!). The wardrobe had a light which was great and the electric blackout blinds and double glazing meant we slept like logs! The shower was wonderful, I could have stayed in there all day. I also really liked that there were full sized toiletries instead of annoying little mini ones. Location wise, it was perfect. 5 mins to Leicester Square, 15 to Big Ben, 25 to Buckingham Palace. Breakfast was lovely, beautiful fresh orange juice and the coffee was really something special! The staff are all extremely helpful and friendly, they really made our stay an exceptionally pleasant one. I will definitely stay here again next time I am in London. Thank you Page 8!…
