The hotel is very well located - just a few minutes walk from beautiful Hyde Park gates and to Paddington tube station, on a nice square shaded by two huge plane trees without direct traffic in front of the hotel. The building is old but pretty well cared, the rooms could use some renovation to actually keep a 4 star...

Initially we were put in Room 603 on the ground floor - small and dark, with only view being of the air conditioning unit outside. And when this sprung into life (about every 15 mins) the noise was horrendous. After complaining, we were transferred to Room 209 which had loads of natural light, and overlooked the pleasant Talbot Square. However,...

We are visiting London one or two times a year and always staying at Quality Crown Hyde Park. We are always feeling very welcome to this hotel and especially by Mr Witek. It feels like coming home every time we arrive at this hotel. //Eva and Atle

Where to start, £107 for the room, TV not working and apparently this was due to my room being on "a different server to all other rooms" funny that! next, the trouser press in my room was held together with sticky tape, it promptly fell apart when opened. Next, the entire hotel heating and cooling system was located directly outside...

Really nice welcome, almost to the point of apologetic (which makes sense since I was told the tv and wifi don't work upon arrival). I was upgraded because of this and when I arrived to the room told that the tv was fixed - which it was for a bit. For wifi I had to go to the sister hotel,...

Good - clean room, friendly staff, good breakfast Poor - Floor 7 is in the basement. Dark and dank. TV picture intermittent. Hot water 'luke warm' at best. The ceiling is paper thin so can here every footstep/movement no matter what time (and for me this was until the early hours). Definitely not to be recommended if working the following...

I recently had to make a quick 3 day trip to London and needed a convenient hotel close to Paddington. I was already spending 28 hours in the plane and wanted to minimize my commute time. The Quality Crown Hyde Park was a perfect choice, only a 5 minute walk from the Heathrow Express. The Hotel is conveniently located to...

The room itself was nicely presented, clean etc - however nothing worked! Television and Wifi were broken - apparently this was hotel-wide. To make matters work, my room was located in the basement which meant I didn't even have phone signal. Given I was booked in this hotel on a business trip - it was impossible to actually do any...

We love the location of this hotel - within walking distance of Paddington Station (we come in from Heathrow via Heathrow Express usually), near some good restaurants, short distance to tube and Hyde Park. Rooms are small only by US standards but clean and quiet. Staff was helpful and the square outside delightful.

“By North American standards, the rooms are small and oddly configured. But this is England. Try for a room overlooking the garden court.”
