I honestly dont understand how everyone can complain about room size while in London. It is what it is so expect that going in and dont disappoint yourself. Here in the US we normally see very large rooms in comparrison so dont compare. We had a triple room that was nicely appointed and adequate size for us. Included breakfest for...

Hotel worked perfectly for a one night stay culminating with an 8AM departure the following morning from King's Cross Station. From the reception upon check in until the departure, everything seemed to be spot on here. The room, smallish but well appointed worked well for a good nights sleep, The shower worked perfectly, and the continental breakfast offered was adequate....

Upon arrival, I was told that there was no space in the hotel (I had previously made a reservation) and told that they could put me up in their Kensington hotel which they would transport me to in a taxi. The only reason for staying in a dive like this is obviously because of its convenience to Kings cross... We...

The rooms look to have been recently refurbished and very nice looking bathrooms. Problem is with the noise. The windows were terrible and the frames look like they were about to rot. Walls are made out of paper and all we heard in the mornings were the cleaners in the other rooms and hovering the hall and the noise from...

This hotel seems to have a variety of reports. We have stopped in London on numerous occasions and found this hotel to be good value for the money. The room was a little small but as we only use this for sleeping in what does it matter, Good shower and very clean throughout. the staff on reception were very helpful...

My two female (elderly) friends and I stayed at this hotel. One of them had travelled from Scotland for our trip on the Eurostar. The first night was acceptable but on our return from Germany my friend left her luggage and we went for a meal. On her return she had a problem opening the room door. On reporting this...

First off, let me say that I travel to London regularly and I often use the King's Cross area as a base because I need to catch an early Eurostar home. Of all the hotels I've used in the area so far this has turned out to be by far the best, which is why I'd like to give it...

This hotel was booked for me by work and it's awful. When I got in my taxi and told him which hotel to go he was surprised as he said it's a rough area. He wasn't kidding. The rooms are small, tired and very scruffy. The bed was small and very lumpy. The walls are paper thin and you can...

Comfort Inn, St Chad's Street is opposite the front of Kings Cross Station. It has small but very good rooms, clean and warm. Breakfasts are continental and reason for 4 stars and not 5. Around the corner there are numerous buses that will take you to Trafalgar Square, Covent Gardens, Oxford Street etc and of course stay here if you...

I stayed here for 1 night and I'm glad I wasn't looking to spend hours sat in my room. There are 2 TVs in the room but one has a bad signal and the other one only really got a good signal on the first 5 channels. The hotel is adequate and quiet, but needs modernising or rather just decorating....

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
