With so many options, I really needed a place with kitchenette facilities for my special diet needs. The Resident Kensington fit that bill, and would have been perfect for that alone. But it also was a lovely room: very clean, very quiet, full amenities, close to the underground and food shops, a quick walk or ride to everything I wanted to see and do. I felt very safe walking back the block from the tube after a play or evening outing. I would definitely stay again.

Hotel's Favourite
This was our latest stay at the hotel and there was nothing to disappoint. From the friendly and helpful staff to the well appointed room, we had everything we needed. The kitchenette area was a godsend as we were able to cater for ourselves when we needed to. The location is great for travelling to the host of attractions London has to offer. There were so many within a reasonable walking distance (especially if this was on a strike day) and if slightly further, the tube or bus connections were readily available. We'll always choose to stay at the this Resident hotel when we return for future holidays.

Dear Michael M, Thank you for again for a such lovely review following your return visit with us. Happy to hear that again we have exceeded your expectations and that we have everything you needed this visit. Our kitchenette is indeed very convenient to have, can easily store food and snacks. A great money saving tip. It is also good to know that we offer a fridge refill service, you simply give us a food grocery list prior arrival and we do the shopping for you. Something to consider on your next visit. We look forward to welcome you again! Kind regards, Edgardo Cruz Reception Manager

Lovely hotel! Everything was perfect. Upon arriving we realized the room would be too small. Yash found that she could move us to a more acceptable size room the next day for a minimal charge. Every evening you could go to the lobby for wine or prosecca. It was also a very quiet hotel. Beds were great!

Dear G8090AFsarahb, Thank you for the great review following your stay. it was our great pleasure to assist you during your venture in London. Planning is really fun to do specially if you are well familiar with the area. A recommendation based on personal experiences are the best reommendations. Indeed from our hotel you may take Picadilly Line in Earls Court Station and it has tube/subway line straight to Heathrow Airport and also to Central London. Getting from/to is very easy. Thank you again for staying with us. We hope to see you again and remember to always book direct with our membership for the best rates! Kind regards, Edgardo Cruz Reception Manager

A very nice quiet part of London to stay in. The rooms are quiet and comfortable and very good access for anything around Victoria. The rooms are not particularly large, but very well equipped and the street outside is quiet at night. All in all very good value for money, worth noting though that they don’t do breakfast. But a very good bet for a stay in this part of London.

I booked the hotel from Nov 21 to Nov 29, but the Night Manager confirmed to me through booking.com to change the dates to Nov 30 and Dec 8 of the following month. That was ok. However, when I arrived at the hotel to make my reservation from Nov 30 to Dec 8, the manager refused to accept it without explanation. I cannot accept the manager's behavior; I have never seen such a rude lady in the role of a reputable hotel manager. We told her since we did not have any other bookings and we were hopeless and asked her to kindly consider this, but she never listened to us and even offered little sympathy for us. It was very hard to find accommodation, so we had to wait more than four hours on the road. I was very disappointed in the way she spoke to a customer. It is not my fault. It is your fault for changing my dates, and after everything was fine and I arrived at the hotel to stay, they refused my request to occupy; this is the worst manager I have ever seen. You need to learn how to talk to your customer first. Even security in a hotel handles customers better than you.

The Resident offers a great value while providing great hospitality. The staff is extremely friendly. Rooms were very clean and provided everything we needed on the trip. It is a quick 5 min walk from the Earls Court station which makes everything a quick trip into the city. The hotel is tucked into a great neighborhood away from any main streets. I would stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking.

The Resident Kensington is a great place to stay in London. Booking and payment were easy. The website pictures were accurate. Check-in was easy, staff members are very friendly and work to get you in your room as soon as it's available. The room was comfortable and clean with everything you would need to sleep well and then make a cup of coffee or tea to eat with your scone. The manager's reception was a nice way to extend hospitality, and I enjoyed chatting with other guests. I hope to return soon to the Resident Kensington!

Overall the place was very nice. Hotel was clean and staff was helpful and friendly. Definitely loved the proximity to the underground, also to some restaurants and cafes. Also very close to a supermarket which was good. Room size was a little smaller than I expected but still very comfortable. A little upset I was not able to get a balcony room even with booking months in advance, but that’s ok I really enjoyed my stay! Gemma at the front desk was specially helpful!

Dear AKMenk, Thank you for the perfect 5* review following your stay. Great to hear that you overall had a very nice stay. A big well done to everyone in the team for hosting and assisting you during your stay and specially mention to our Duty Manager, Gemma! Indeed that is correct, our local neighbourhood has a lot to offer, transportation, restaurants/pubs, grocery stores, museums, etc. are all within walking distance. Sorry to hear that you initially felt upset for not having a room with balcony, we do take note of all our guests' preference however we are unable to guarantee room allocations as it always depends on the availability. In trust that we do try our best to allocate reservations based on preference. We hope to see you again in the near future! Kind regards, Edgardo Cruz Reception Manager
