Spend a bit more and get somewhere else, for your own sake! I can empathise with the previous review, we were stuck in a nasty room miles from reception and as we walked deeper and deeper into the hotel to find our room, you felt like the class of room was just getting worse and worse, with rotten wood, peeling...

Me and my friends wanted somewhere cheap and cheerful to stay for our weekend away in London! We arrived at the hotel on the Friday night at 2330, from te outside it looked lovely( in the dark anyway)! The reception was welcoming and looked pleasant. Wen we tried to check in, the assistant at the desk was slow, he ignored...

I'd rather spend a night in Josef Fritzl's basement than stay another night at the Queens. At first I thought they had over booked and put us in the staff quarter due to the youth hostel feel to the room and the Henry vacuum cleaner abandoned on our doorstep, but then reading the rest of the reviews I realise that's...

Staff were unhelpful and were pre-occupied with personal telephone calls when we arrived. We were put into a single+double room and the double bed was so small there was no way two adults could have comfortably slept in it (it must have been all of 2inches wider than the single), after complaining we were moved to a double+double room where...

We normally use budget hotels like Travelodge and Premier Inn but they were far too expensive, so I was pleasantly surprised with the cost for The Queens. On arrival we were rudely refused entry to park, as parking was full! Had to find a space in the local roads. Were treated very well by the front desk staff when my...

This horrible hotel almost ruined our break away as we wanted to spend as little time as possible in it. Stains on the carpet and sheets, peeling wall paper, a texco's bag wrapped around the smoke alart, a shower that doesn't work and a toilet door that didn't shut. And an overwhelming stale smell. I cannot believe that this place...

My family and I visited London in March and stayed in this hotel for 2 days. Later they charged my credit card for no-show fee for a room which we had cancelled through the email correspondence previously. I tried to contact them and asked for explanation, however, up to now there is no response at all. If there is a...

We stayed at this hotel from 19 June until 27 June. We requested a modern room and got a room that was on the main floor just passed the elevators. The room was big enough for the two of us and clean upon inspection. We had a working toilet, sink, and shower and hot water came very fast out of...
