So review is short and sweet . I booked via booking.com , phoned the hotel around 21.30 to check hotel directions to be told they had sold the room. As I was on a train from Manchester this was a nightmare. You book a room expecting it is actually booked I was then re directed via booking.com to a sub...

Booked to stay in an apartment with 159 Knightsbridge hotel however on arrival they denied knowing anything about apartments as they are a hotel. Some 20 mins later the manager gets a call on his personal mobile and says our apartment which was supposed to be in Knightsbridge is fully booked but they have a spare apartment in Marble Arch....

My stay with this hotel was a absolute disgrace beyond beleive - do not trust these people or stay at this hotel or let let them offer you an apartment under any circumstances as it is a scam. Please take care of your belongings during your stay this is a must!!.They only accept cash and I can only imagine why...

Read the recent reviews down the side and then imagine what it could be like. We experienced the breakfast but we also did not get cutlery. How do you eat cereal with a spoon. Took out towels on 2nd day but never received any replacements. Very dirty, hot air conditioner was broken so a water cooler with a large hose...

The most dirty hotell I ever been to and the most ignorant staff. When we got our key, the room was not cleaned after the last guest. They did not clean the room the following days unless we told them and ofthen not even then or just a part, like throwing the bins but not making the beds. They never...

Booked the hotel for its location. No disappointment there, very good location. But that was all. Hotel is located in a rundown building. Old not well maintained. Mattress awful, very darkroom. Bathroom outdated. Breakfast is brought to the room. Tasteless, juice out of a super market. Friendly family owned hotel but not even one star as far as we are...

It is wrongly rated.it is definately not a 4 * hotel. I would say 2*, it says with breakfast but it does not say that there is no dining room. The poor breakfast is served in the room and most times it arrives cold and with the wrong items one would have ordered the night before. The hotel is extremely shabby with...

I arrived with my Trivago booking reference document to be told I had no booking. I was then offered a room for cash. Even that room apparently had no TV because it had been smashed up. The lobby was filthy. I cannot express enough - DO NOT STAY HERE!

Staying in Knightsbridge

Neighbourhood Profile
Knightsbridge
When millions of tourists want to shop 'til they drop, they do it along Brompton Road and its boutique-lined tributaries, including the world-renowned Harrods. And when millionaires want to flaunt what they've already got, many of them find Knightsbridge and Belgravia the perfect place to do so, often behind stately mansion walls or down quiet private mews. Delve beyond the ultra-luxe exterior and you'll find some of this city's cosiest pubs, quiet gardens, and all sorts of indie retailers and enterprises worth a short exercise in spontaneous window shopping. For those looking to take a break from shopping, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, and some of the city's most popular museums are nearby.

One of the few remaining independent, boutique hotels, traditional in style in a historically important Victorian building which dates back to 1890. The Knightsbridge Green Hotel is perfectly located in exclusive Knightsbridge, with Harrods, Harvey Nichols and other exceptional shopping, plus The Royal Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens on the doorstep. We enjoy a truly international business and leisure clientele. Indeed, with a number of public transport services available close by, from double decker buses to Knightsbridge tube/subway, travel arrangements literally open up the City for trips to the City centre,Theatreland and top tourist attractions such as Buckingham Palace, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament,London Eye and Tower of London, to name a few. Open top bus tours can be arranged to thirty two tourist attractions and we highly recommend touring by cruising the River Thames along to The Tower of London and Greenwich. International visitors will be pleased to note Victoria station for connections to London Gatwick is just a five minute drive away and we are well positioned for car transfers to London Heathrow International airport.
