Visited with a small group of friends for a weekend in London - and were pleasantly surprised by the price of a hotel in such a nice area at such short notice...now we know why. We arrived over an hour after the check in time butstill had to wait 15 minutes to be shown to our room as it was... More

I've been visiting London and stayed in Knightsbridge Green hotel even if I saw lot of bad reviews in here, For me was a good experience overall , the hotel is situated in central London and is very good if you looking to visit any attractions in central London or if you just fancy shopping on oxford street. A big... More

You would be more than wise to pay less and stay in a travel lodge. However If you fancy rooms that look like they have been last decorated in 1972 and potentially enjoy the sound of Arabic music seemingly piped into your room from a bloke next door who doesn't seem to sleep between 1am and 5am and insists on... This is right in the middle of Knightsbridge. As some of the other comments note the hotel is a little dated but the staff are fantastic and go out of their way to help. The room is comfortable and of a decent size. The old lift adds to the charm. We traveled as a couple with an 11 and 9... More

I read the reviews on this hotel after booking and admit I was really apprehensive about visiting. Well when booking readt he description. It is a Victorian building so has some wear and tear. We had a nice clean room with fresh towels every day. We were never asked for extra money for cleaning. The staff were really lovely and... More

Room was nice size but really over due decorating. Breakfast was poor, only allowed to tick 3 items! Breakfast came up on two trays with four plates, had to eat it on our laps! We had to ask for the breakfast menu and the Internet password and for tea milk and sugar! Took dirty towels away and didn't replace them!... More

Staff and manager were lovely and very welcoming. Especially the staff in the hair salon which is another advantage! Very lovely people :) Lovely service. Comfy beds and average view of the street and other attractions.. But as for the room and appearance from the inside not to good. Looked nothing at all like the pictures on the Internet. Plug... A good located hotel, close to the tube stations situated and just a short walk away from the famous harrods. Personally I think the decor could have done with a tidy up for the price we paid. The carpets were a little worn and the walls could have done with a fresh lick of paint. Despite that the room we... More

We travelled as a group of five here last night and were very anxious considering previous reviews. We were so pleasantly surprised! The man on reception was lovely and it was manned 24 hours a day. Our room was spacious, quiet considering the area and came with complimentary drinks. Great shower and we all slept well. Breakfast wasn't great but... More

Staying in Knightsbridge

Neighbourhood Profile
Knightsbridge
When millions of tourists want to shop 'til they drop, they do it along Brompton Road and its boutique-lined tributaries, including the world-renowned Harrods. And when millionaires want to flaunt what they've already got, many of them find Knightsbridge and Belgravia the perfect place to do so, often behind stately mansion walls or down quiet private mews. Delve beyond the ultra-luxe exterior and you'll find some of this city's cosiest pubs, quiet gardens, and all sorts of indie retailers and enterprises worth a short exercise in spontaneous window shopping. For those looking to take a break from shopping, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, and some of the city's most popular museums are nearby.

One of the few remaining independent, boutique hotels, traditional in style in a historically important Victorian building which dates back to 1890. We enjoy a truly international business and leisure clientele. Indeed, with a number of public transport services available close by, from double decker buses to Knightsbridge tube/subway, travel arrangements literally open up the City for trips to the City centre,Theatreland and top tourist attractions such as Buckingham Palace, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament,London Eye and Tower of London, to name a few. Open top bus tours can be arranged to thirty two tourist attractions and we highly recommend touring by cruising the River Thames along to The Tower of London and Greenwich. International visitors will be pleased to note Victoria station for connections to London Gatwick is just a five minute drive away and we are well positioned for car transfers to London Heathrow International airport.
