Bad - small room, noisy with a really bad smell. The bathroom is the smallest ever seen . The air conditioner worked only on heating. Good - Friendly staff , clean room , the hotel is in a convenient location with a good restaurant .

After travelling through London on my way to a family funeral, I was feeling somewhat exhausted . The hotel is friendly and welcoming. My room was very comfortable and clean ,so I spent a very restful night. The restaurant service was excellent and the food , apart from personal taste issues , was very nice and the service was prompt...

Room was spotless with every amenity including tea and coffee making facilities. Twin beds were on small size but adequate for an overnight stay ----any longer they might have been a problem . Staff very helpful on arrival at 11am our room was ready but if we wanted to access it before 2pm there was a charge of £10 !!!

If you're looking for a reasonably priced hotel in Greenwich you can't go wrong with this one. Clean, modern, creatively decorated and with a good shower. It adjoins a Cafe Rouge restaurant and is centrally located, so close to The Market, two minutes from The Curry Sark and Greenwich Maritime Museum and College, not to mention the Royal Park and...

Stayed here after looking for something that wasn't a huge distance from City centre and needing someone near to the O2 Arena. Staff were friendly, efficient and the location is great. Greenwich has a real village feel to it with lots of places to eat and drink - alongside the Cutty Sark of course! Would recommend to anyone heading to...

This is a basic hotel, by design, but it was clean and quiet and check-in/check-out was a breeze. I've stayed at Ibis properties before and found the beds really comfortable (firm but padded, almost more like a futon), but this one was quite hard and left me with some back pain. All in all, I would stay here again given...

We stayed at The Greenwich Ibis from Friday to Monday. The room was clean, simple, but comfortable. It was very quiet and hassle free. The location is excellent being at the end of Grrenwich's High Street, but being opposite the University buildings is still quite and out of the hustle and bustle. A 3 min. walk from there station, Cutty...

Clean and quiet room. No frills to get broken or dirty! Lovely central location in Greenwich. Friendly staff. You feel secure. Cafe Rouge for breakfast etc. Comfy bed. Don't expect a safe or similar extras. Tea, coffee making and hairdryer are available in room.

Staying in Greenwich

Neighbourhood Profile
Greenwich
Greenwich Mean Time starts here, so to speak, as the very concept of global time was established at Royal Observatory, just one of several buildings of architectural interest in Greenwich. Indeed, the whole of Greenwich's historic town center, its Royal Park and a number of related buildings (and one world famous ship, the Cutty Sark) make up the UNESCO World Heritage site known as Maritime Greenwich. Today a laser beam is shot out across the night sky from the Observatory to mark the location of the Prime Meridian. Other bold (some say brash) 21st century additions to the area include landmarks such as The O2 entertainment complex (previously known as the Millennium Dome) and the Air Line cable cars, which offer scenic transport across the Thames between North Greenwich and the Royal Docks.
