Really lovely hotel very close to underground. Very modern decoration and super-comfortable sleep and shower that was all I needed! The only drawback is that you could easily hear the noises from rooms above. The staff was friendly as well. The location is urban and a bit of doggie surroundings but I didn't luckily need it much over the noght.....

Stayed at this hotel on a Saturday for one night. Everything was very good. Room extremely comfortable with good shower. Staff all very professional & friendly. Good location just one minute walk from Aldgate East Tube station. The complimentary continental breakfast was of exceptional quality and variety and my husband upgraded for £5.00 to the full English offering which was...

This a hotel is a short walking distance from the main business area of London. Not an impressive building from the outside, but we were very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the hotel and the modern design inside. There is a guarded car park at the rear of the building at £24 for 24 hours - very good price...

The room was large, well-appointed and very clean. Complimentary tea and coffee in the room. The staff were polite and helpful and checking in and out was quick and painless. Only a few minutes walk from Algate East station. You will also find Tesco and Starbucks very close. I would definitely stay again.

I spent 3 lovely nights at the Arbor city hotel at the end of January. The hotel was perfect, good size room very clean and an excellent shower. The location was great next to the aldgate east tube station so getting about the city was no problem. Brick lane really surprised me with the choice of restaurants and bars.

The rooms were fantastic. Spacious, Clean and Modern. All the basic amenities loaded. Free WiFi. The breakfast had limited variety but was fresh and worth the money we paid. The concierge was helpful at all times and cooperated more than they usually do. The location in itself isn't very famous but the hotel was very very close to the london...

Had never heard of the hotel but was looking for one that would take a room for 3 adults. What a find! Excellent location, 2 minutes for the tube and on all main bus routes. Spacious room with a coffee machine and a bathroom with a wonderful shower. The view to the Gherkin and Walkie Talkie building was a bonus...

There is nothing special about this hotel or its location. But the staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and a good size. It's all new and modern and beds are comfortable. I've stayed here numerous times and not had 1 bad experience. All I would say is food is over priced for dinner in the hotel,...

Staying in Whitechapel

Neighbourhood Profile
Whitechapel
Whether you're here for its dynamic street life, world class galleries or famed curry houses, you're bound to be wowed by the uniquely cosmopolitan flavor of Whitechapel. Long gone are the days when Jack the Ripper stalked its streets. And despite his mysterious legacy bringing throngs of curiosity driven tour groups to its back alleys and otherwise serene garden squares, these days you're more likely to catch a cutting edge fashionista scurrying through its age old lanes than criminals of any sort.
