We are seniors on a budget and were very happy with our experience here. Our room was small but clean, quiet and comfortable, breakfast was good , staff helpful and the price and location were perfect. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to others who travel the same way. If you want 5 star it won't work for you,but for us...

This hotel is basic it is clean.. bed covers etc all clean. The en suite toilet and shower were small it did smell damp ..I prob wouldn't want to stay here for more than 2 nights but that is only because I would choose somewhere more than 2 stars for a longer break. Breakfast was great again clean and plenty...

Price was very cheap and room was clean and quiet. I was quite surprised to see the the toilet was 2 floors below the actual room (room 15 I think). This may have been stated in the booking process, but I missed it. Breakfast was good and checking in process worked well. Would stay again

This is a horrible hotel and I would describe it as a hostel more than a hotel. I discourage anyone from staying here! I spent £60 a night, and was given a room with a shower and face basin, but no toilet. On enquiring as to where the toilet was, I was told that it was located on the 2nd...

After reading the reviews, I was terrified to stay at this hotel. It is not as bad as the reviews depict. I was lucky enough to get an ensuite. The only issue I had with the room was that the shower curtain stunk of mildew whenever it got wet, and for shampoo they provided me with a sample packet of...

My Bed is wet with leaking rain. Can you change my room?"

I had to stay in London for a business trip and needed somewhere cheap that expenses would cover. I was extremely worried after reading the reviews on here, but it wasn't too bad. I stayed in room 9, which was supposedly en suite. In reality, there was a shower in the room, but the toilet was in a cupboard off...

I wanted a cheap place for one night, traveling alone, when I knew I'd use the place only for sleeping. Great location for central London (in Victoria). Given how little I paid, 38 pounds (including all fees) using Hotwire, my expectations were very low. The Grapevine and the neighboring Sheriff Hotel are part of the same building. Grapevine check-in is...

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
