We choose this hotel because of it's location , it is really good. The hotel is not new and by my opinion needs renovation . One more point I want to mention , it's very Arab guests oriented . Besides , the stuff is very friendly and trying hard to do their best , rooms are spacious enough ( business... More

the location is the best - close to nearly everything that I need when in London. The rooms are mostly okay but the lounge service was not very good and we ended up having nothing. I've used this hotel for various meetings and think it's great value. The staff was very helpful and efficient, the buffet style lunch, whether in their restaurant or served in-room was more than ample. Rooms seem slightly outdated but well worth the money when you take location into conisderation.

Arrived exhausted after a stressful trip, and the reception staff were very welcoming. My room had been upgraded to a business class room, which was lovely. Great facilities and décor. Ordered a pizza via room service, which was average and overpriced if I'm honest, but convenient and quick to arrive. Breakfast was great. Spent the next day at an event... More

Whilst the public rooms have been tarted up quite nicely, take a walk around the block and look upwards and you will see a very sixties (or earlier) pile of bricks that looks something like a couple of blocks of council flats (there are two towers) sitting on an absolutely prime London site. Upon arriving at the hotel at around 3:30pm we were told the rooms were not ready. In fact, it was 5:00pm before we were able to get into our rooms. The Hotel is a fab location just off Oxford Street. The room was small but adequate with all the amenities that you require. The concierge was very helpful. So all in not a bad experience. Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
