I was apprehensive after reading the reviews and genuinely expected the absolute worst. I was very pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and big enough for myself, my mum and my baby boy (I only booked a twin) the bathroom was sparkling and I felt completely comfortable using the facilities. The location is incredible and for the price in the... More

First we arrived at the hotel and we were greeted with a rude attitude from the reception, they didn't explain anything right and didn't even tell us where breakfast was being held. We then got to our room to find there was paint everywhere and the floor was thilthy looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. The hallway floor... More

All I can say is this should be called Holland Court HOSTEL. If I could I wouldn't even give it 1* I don't even know where to start. I did not meet even 1 member of staff that even had the decency to say hello, they were so so rude and couldn't have cared less about their guests. As soon... More

My hopes were not high and although very cramped the room was passable however that is where the positives end and the reason for one of a rating. Staff surly and belligerent bordering on rude. Hotel noisy, no instructions about where and when breakfast. Cereal and toast passable but no one clearing tables or monitoring breakfast room. This is definitely... More

The room was very small and probably the smallest en-suite I have ever encountered. It was very clean however and the staff were very good. I asked to change rooms after not being able to sleep on the uncomfortable mattress I was moved without issue however other bed was only slightly better. Breakfast is continental and again the dining room... More

This is a miserable hotel With miserable staff and a whole miserable feel about everything When you first enter there is no greeting no friendliness, in fact we were stared at and actually made to feel quite awkward. The place is filthy and smells like vinegar... The bed is made by pulling the duvet over anything that's either in or... More

Room was good, we had a double bed and a single for Double room booking. If You want Wi-Fi you need to pay for it. Breakfast was average and was given in a small room. Would recommend for a cheap hotel for sleeping and breakfast.

You get what you pay for - and I would have thought £120 a night wasn't cheap. Perhaps it is for London? Anyway, it's a dump. Some would call it tired. No - it's a dump. Breakfast is a real do-it-yourself toast and boiled egg and slices of cheese. Not great. Don't stay here.

We booked this hotel via booking.com for a single Saturday night during the Ideal Home Show. The booking.com site had this down as 3* with positive description so it was a week before our stay that I actually decided to look at other review sites. To be honest, at that point I was horrified as I found reams if 1*... More
