If you're reading this then chances are you're looking for a cheap hotel in a good location... this place works well on both accounts with great access on bakerloo line only a couple of mins walk away at paddington (perfect if you're arriving into London at King's Cross), Hyde Park is just around the corner, plenty of shops and restaurants... Furnitures were cheap and curtains and bedspread were multicolored. Wall-to-wall carpet and extrablankets were as awfulll as everywhere, but rooms, towels and toilets were clean and breacfast was ok: Coffee, Tea, toast, butter, marmelade and individual freshly made english breakfast. the staff were friendly and AC adapter and wifi were free. Price was guite reasonable, because we made reservation early... More

The hotel is in a very convenient location, just few minutes from Paddington station. Staff were absolutely wonderful, all very polite and nice to speak to. Our room was generally clean, English breakfast was very good. Breakfast room was quite small but always clean and tables were quickly re-set. We were allowed to keep our luggage in the hotel after... More

Not the first time stay in London. It was not easy to find a spacious room with reasonable price, but here is ideal for me. The hotel location is in the heart of the city very near hyde park and all transportations. The room itself(1st floor) was clean and bright. Even thought the typical victorian house doesn't have lift but... More

This is absolutely the worst hotel we have ever stayed in ever!! Please do not believe the pictures, the room was filthy, the bathroom is the size of a small closet, please, do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. The only plusses with this hotel is the proximity to the Paddington station and my daughter said the English breakfast... More

We have just come back from a nights stay, I booked four rooms in the hotel. I wasn't expecting anything amazing but i will start with our room (308) the smallest room I have ever stayed in, it had a wardrobe but it was locked because you quite simply couldn't open the doors if we had wanted too, it was... We had a family room for 3 with basic facilities. It is what we were expecting and for the value we were surprised by many reviews. The staff offered to assist with our bags as we were on Level 2, but we were able to cope. Breakfast was hot with a small variety of items, but once again it was... More

Room was very basic and would say it was 3 people, the decor was outdated but clean, the bathroom well sorry not much can be said for it was more like a caravan bathroom stuck onto the wall, the dinning room was very small and cramped staff hardly understood what you were saying, and I felt the way they looked...
