I booked The Cavendish London just after Christmas for our stay in April. I contacted the hotel straight away asking for an upgrade as I was going to buy my fiancé her ring. I was told they would definitely organise something for us. I didn't tell my girlfriend as I wanted everything to be a surprise and to be very...

We have stayed here on many occasions in the past - the location is perfect and it is comfortable ,We got a good "Easter Deal " and the planned visit to the David Hockney exhibition was a success but we were disappointed at the breakfast and my husband felt that the decor was getting tired .I would however go back...

Have stayed here a number of times over the years, but what has happened to it, we sat in the lounge area and had to wait 15 mins before anyone came to take our drinks order, the breakfasts have defiantly gone down hill, you have to wait for your order to be taken whereas before the staff were on hand...

This hotel is located in the perfect London neighborhood for easy sightseeing, theater and shopping. (A 5 minute walk in either direction for the Underground Piccadilly line or Green Park line). It is elegant but not stuffy or pretentious. The concierge greeted us by name as soon as we arrived to check in, letting me know they were always prepared...

This hotel is in a great location. We have stayed here a number of times and we keep coming back because of the location and the price and the service. Whilst the standard rooms are a bit small the amenties are very good including a coffee machine Breakfast was very satisfying - we had a large group including children who...

Location is perfect on Jermyn St, near Fortnum and Mason, hard to get a better spot in London. A bit of a concrete 70s building on the outside (carefully disguised), but nice and modern inside. Rooms were neat and clean, if a little small. Prices very reasonable considering how central this hotel is. All round a pleasant stay

Stayed at the Cavandish a few times over the years, and it's gone a bit downhill in my opinion. Place is starting to look bit tired in places. Rude staff at breakfast. I stayed for two nights and on the first morning was served by a lovely girl you took my coffee/toast order etc however on the second morning when...

After dozens of visits we were delighted to find that our "Home from Home" was keeping up its meticulous standards. Where else could one find such a great hotel in such a convenient setting? Within a few yards you can visit the Royal Academy, shop in world-famous Fortnums, in Jermyn Street's exclusive men's shops, marvel at the jewellery in the...

Arrived into Cavendish Hotel, immediately greeted by helpful porters, checked in with friendly receptionist, allocated an excellent light room, on a high floor. What more could you wish for in a central London location

Spent 6 nights at the Cavendish in April 2017. Location is absolutely excellent -- you are right on top of everything. So much is within 10 minutes walking distance -- shopping, restaurants, theater, Westminster Abbey. We booked the executive double, which is a larger than normal room, and we pre-paid with breakfast. Our first night was not good because the...

Staying in St. James's

Neighbourhood Profile
St. James's
Perennially fashionable since the days of Henry VIII, the aristocratic “Clubland” of St James's is a premier destination for high end craft and bespoke design. Here you’ll lose count of the Royal Warrants (which indicate that the Royal Family patronizes the establishment) seen in shop front windows, even during a short stroll to bordering Green Park or St James’s Park. With the brightly lit and constantly buzzing junction of Piccadilly Circus at its northeast corner and none of Central London too far away, this is an surprisingly central and accessible part of town, especially given its prosperous demeanor.
