I normally don't 'do' reviews, because I'm asked to do them too often ! - but in the case of the Cavendish, I am very happy to make an exception - because it is a really nice hotel to stay at ! The Staff, without exception, are warm, friendly, very attentive and you couldn't ask for better service - nothing...

Great location between the Piccadilly Circus & Green Park tube stops and close to the theatres and restaurants of the West End. The staff is friendly and the hotel has a very relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are small as they usually are in central London, but well appointed with a Nespresso machine, milk and biscuits. The decor is very stylish...

Heart of West End for theatreland. Yards from The Ritz, Fortnum & Masons, restaurants galore, Burlington Arcade, Eros Piccadilly Circus. Couldn't be better situated. Stayed two nights whilst doing a show. Dined out mostly apart from breakfast which was absolutely delicious The welcome from reception was "how it used to be" with warm friendly professional smiling staff taking your luggage...

Quality and good service at a reasonable price which is hard to find in a central London location. It is in easy walking distance to all the major historical West End attractions, and the main theatre's.

Close to everything we enjoy: theater, great restaurants, Fortnum & Mason (a *must* when visiting London). The staff is exceptional, very accommodating & helpful. Especially Jack the concierge; he helped with reservations and had many recommendations for us even before we arrived. We will be back soon!

The Cavendish is my favourite hotel in London, bar none. It is not 'flashy' or 'exclusive' but it does have the elegance and flair that you would expect for this part of town. The rooms are nicely laid out, and all reasonable needs are met 'as standard' as far as I have seen. The beds are very comfortable, the seating...

Got offered a £99 Sunday night rate via e-mail and decided to book. Drove in using my Electric Hybrid which qualifies for 1/2 price parking (£20) and they charged the car overnight free of charge. Room was small but perfectly adequate and all the furnishings were clean and tidy. Free Wifi was easy to use and worked well. Bathroom was...

Great location, great staff (exellent service by concierge team) and small, but nice room with a comfortable bed. This time we didn't get a good view over the city, and two of the elevators were out of order one day, but overall, this is a great choice. Been here before, will come again. Thanks for the stay!

We stayed there for 1 night on a visit to the theatre. Due to business I needed to get to Heathrow early the next day at late notice - the concierge services were brilliant. Really nice to find a hotel where service is a the heart of it - and boy great location too.

Staying in St. James's

Neighbourhood Profile
St. James's
Perennially fashionable since the days of Henry VIII, the aristocratic “Clubland” of St James's is a premier destination for high end craft and bespoke design. Here you’ll lose count of the Royal Warrants (which indicate that the Royal Family patronizes the establishment) seen in shop front windows, even during a short stroll to bordering Green Park or St James’s Park. With the brightly lit and constantly buzzing junction of Piccadilly Circus at its northeast corner and none of Central London too far away, this is an surprisingly central and accessible part of town, especially given its prosperous demeanor.
