I like the Radisson Blu chain and have stayed in a number of their hotels. They have never disappointed--until now. This one was incredibly disappointing because of the poor management attitude towards guests. The rooms are smallish, but many hotel rooms in London are small. Yes, the water system is old and when a guest flushes their toilet, the shower...

What with three world class museums on the doorstep, and Harrods a short walk away....location is terrific. Hotel appears to be an amalgam of Victorian houses linked into each other...so a mass of doors and corrdors to negotiate....but good rooms...if lacking daylight at the rear...with good sleep quality and a really top class breakfast. I'll return.

We returned home from the Radisson Vanderbilt this morning after a lovely night's stay for my husband's 30th birthday. We had an absolutely lovely time and the staff were fantastic and went out of their way to make our stay special. We were upgraded to a king size room and they even left a cake for my husband in our...

Excellent experience with a joyful team of employees. The location is perfect, close to Gloucester Road tube station, an easy pick to anywhere in London. The quality of the rooms are good and the structure of the room service is quite nice. The restaurant that serves the hotel has a fine breakfast, serving the regular English breakfast. Diner is awesome...

We stayed at this hotel when we flew into London. We only had one night before we flew out to Ireland. Reception was very friendly and helpful. We had an enjoyable dinner in the Indian Food restaurant that evening, then we went to bed early to catch up with our jet lag. The next morning we went down for breakfast...

As you approach this impressive building , you feel there's a certain quality. Reception was warm and most helpful, directing me to the 8th floor suite. Plush and luxurious are what echoes with stunning views of the capitals skyline. For those unfamiliar with the architecture, the most iconic buildings and landmarks are etched in line along the bottom of the...

First let me say that the room was lovely. It was small but we were not looking for a lot of space just comfort and we got that and more with our room. Most of all I want to talk about the staff. I contacted them about my trip several months in advance to let them know how important this...

7/27/15 The group from Singles Travel International would meet here within two days. I wanted to spend a few days by myself so I chose this same hotel and while I thought I'd be disappointed with their location choice, I was pleasantly surprised. Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
