Stayed for 11 nights in December 2016. Was pleased at first because Room 126 was relatively large for a single room in Central London with an equally large bathroom. Things went south around 3AM when I noticed two mice in the room. I called the front desk and they moved me to a much smaller room on the top floor....

I had high hopes when checking in to the BW Burns Hotel. To be honest, I only booked here as my tour was leaving from this hotel. My husband and I stayed 3 nights prior to departing on our tour and were not impressed. The rooms are tiny - barely enough room to open the door fully (without banging it...

Stayed here as a last minute booking. Was a double room with no space at all. Room smelt bad thought it was just old but I later figured out was most likely due to the mice! The room was tiny and could barely get my bag into it. The door to the bathroom stuck so you had to pull it...

Had a short stay here for a business trip. The hotel is in a superb location, only a few minutes walk from Earl's court tube station (which the Piccadilly line runs through). Lots of shops nearby, including a Marks and Spencer and Boots. The room itself was spotless, and all the amenities you need. Would happily stay here again.

Awful hotel Staff rude Hotel dirty They come banging on our door to pay immediately for drinks even though we had left our card to take payment. Would not recommend to anyone,be aware they also ask you to pay the room amount twice and hold your money for three weeks!!

My second stay at this hotel and will happily go back. Really convenient location as so close to Earls Court station. We stayed here for a visit to Olympia Horse show - an easy distance to walk. Would be five star but the rooms are a little tired now and need some TLC but clean and comfortable. Friendly, helpful staff...

Super smiling staff at any time of the day. Rooms a little tired but I think beautiful when first renovated. Pillows a little lumpy but didn't disturb my sleep too much. Close to Earls Court underground so really accessible for town and Heathrow airport. Breakfast was quickly served with cooked to order arriving quickly. I would definitely stay here again...

I stayed in Best Western Burns Hotel a couple of nights in November, and was over-all pleased with my stay. This room was not bad at all, and in an ideal location: Very close to Earl's Court tube station, and withing walking distance of Hyde Park etc. It was super easy to get around from here! Lots of restaurants nearby...

Booked a single room at this hotel just minutes from Earls Court underground and overlooking Barkston Gardens. The room is compact for a single room but comfortable and did not lack anything that you needed. Bathroom with bath and shower; comfortable single bed, everything clean and tidy. The windows can be opened as there are no heating controls and it...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
