We spent a week here and were very pleased. We especially enjoyed being in an upscale neighborhood, 2 blocks from the Gloucester tube station, all at an affordable price. We will gladly recommend this hotel to friends and hope to stay there again in the future.

A lovely hotel. 5 minute walk from Gloucester Road tube station. Kensington Palace and gardens and Royal Albert Hall also close by. V&A museum 15 minute walk Breakfast was a highlight with great choice of dishes. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, particularly Martyna the restaurant manager. 3mins walk to Gloucester road station and 1 min walk to Ashburn Gardens bus stop which had night bus services. A big waitrose next to Gloucester road station and a 24/7 tesco express 5 mins away from the hotel. The room was a bit old. Four tea bags and 4 milk for tea were refilled every other day. They won't...

Convenient for the underground and location was great, not far from everything. The hotel staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was great whatever I ate was tasty, hot and there was a great variety for all tastes. The room for three adults was a bit small, but we spent five days there and it was always clean and...

Rooms were clean and big. People are nice and made us feel at home. when we asked for tourist information they told us a lot of stuff and gave us tips. Breakfast was delicious and they had a lot to choose from.

Nice location and friendly staff. Room was small, but from what I understand they all are no matter the hotel. I would definitely suggest this place and would stay here again when I come back. Hotel was also in close proximity to a tube station which was very convenient!

Dear WagsandPeg, Thank you for staying at the Park International Hotel. I am glad you enjoyed your stay with us. As mentioned many London Hotels tend to be compact and we reflect our price fairly in relation to our competition. We look forward to welcoming you back in the not too distant future. kind regards, Aflal Jabir Operations Manager

For the price we paid we expected to at least get a bed that was a decent size. Paid for a double room but got a bed that was slightly bigger than a single bed and it was broken. Slept on a slant for the entire weekend.

Great room in the middle of hotel. Quiet, fantastic shower and bed. Very comfortable. Excellent wi-fi. One downside was the breakfast could have been hotter, and on the second morning they ran out of a few things when we were at the breakfast bar. Also a lot of aircraft noise when window open, but you'll get that anywhere.

I'm from NYC so I'm used to things being expensive, but this was a very small room and bathroom for the price. There was not one chair in the room, not even at the desk and curiously, the mirror above it was at a height for someone sitting, so you had to stoop to be able to see into it....

Dear MarjorieAT, Thank you for posting your review on Trip Advisor. I am sorry you found our rooms to be compact compared to some of the 3 Star Hotels in the U.S. Unfortunately hotels in Europe, specially Central London tend to be on the smaller side comparatively. Since our standard rooms are compact, we price our rooms fairly in relation...

i booked this a few weeks before going to a concert at the Royal Albert Hall. What I paid was good value for a 4 standard hotel and it was only 10 minute walk away. The room seemed a small attic room which would be ok for overnights or a weekend. It could be a bit 'pokey' for a week...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
