We arrived in london at victoria coach station, andf took us a good while to find the hotel, so i would definatley plan on using walkit.com to find out how to get there because its quite hard to find. Although once we arrived it was a good central location perfect for the apollo theatre and victoria tube and coach station....

The rooms were very nice, recently refurbished. There's a bus to Trafalgar Square every 10 minutes from directly in front of the hotel, very convenient!!

Booked this at fairly late notice through Expedia. A "double" room was just under £100. The hotel is reasonably easy to get to from Victoria station, around a 10 minute walk. It is a converted townhouse similar to all of the other hotels in Belgrave Road. At check-in we were asked for a hard copy of the "travel agent voucher",...

Me and my partner stayed in this hotel on the 2nd and 3rd of february, We stayed in room 412 and had the most fabulous time, the staff were always so attentive and very willing to help in any matter. The facility they provide to leave your luggage untill check in time made the morning of our arrival even better...

My friend and I visited London last summer for 4 days and enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The hotel was located in a beautiful area lots of little cafes, restaurants and bars around. The nearest underground was a 5 min walk and there was also a bus stop right outside the hotel and the bus station was a only...

After reading so many reviews it was with much trepidation that we arrived on the evening of 5th Sept. The hotel was easy to find, the staff extremely helpful. The breakfast was always cooked to perfection and we had no complaints about the size of the bathroom either. We enjoyed our stay immensely. The site of the Sidney is perfect...

For £139, which was advertised rate for room, one expects a certain standard that was not met by Sidney Hotel. Tiny shabby room, with no proper windows, or light, and miniscule en suite. The two other rooms I was shown were no better. This is an area well stocked with hotels and far better quality can be found elsewhere.

I booked this hotel in August 2009 for New Years Eve. We were looking forward to experiencing New Years Eve in London in what looked to be a nice hotel. Unfortunately we never got to experience the Sidney hotel because when we arrived to check in we were told that the heating in our allocated room was not working so...

This is not a 4-star hotel! 3 at a pinch. Very basic. Friendly staff. The room was the smallest room I have ever seen with no space to unpack a large suitcase. Minute but functional bathroom. Beware of the bedspreads ... the one adorning the bed hadn't been washed in weeks which for a "4-star" hotel was a disgrace. It...

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
