Very good value for central London, especially as the price included a basic breakfast. The hotel was going through some refurbishment but works didn't continue late, just involved a detour around reception and using a different front door. Once inside the room it was very clean and modern, more than we expected for the price. Don't use the tiny lift...

First of all, the place was under construction when we stayed, which was not a huge deal, but it definitely was not ideal. The fire alarm went off during the middle of the night, waking us up. The breakfast can hardly be called a breakfast. And our room was so small that we could hardly pass each other because there...

I have read a few reviews on here and am a bit confused about what people were expecting for a hotel in central London at such a cheap price? Yes the room I was in was small, however it was perfectly fine as when I go to a new place I don't spend huge amounts of time walking around my...

It's my first time to visit London and one of my main concern is the accommodation for 5 days. I booked Victoria Inn 3 days before my flight and everything went well without a fuss. I reached the hotel around 10am and I was allowed to leave my luggage to the room though its not yet ready. After I came...

You have to climb one floor to get to the lift. Tiny rooms, can barely fit yourself and your bags. Staff can barely speak English, misunderstanding and causing problems to the reservations. Bad service from manager. Under construction, noise throughout the day.

Offered this hotel as an alternative to our original booking as they had a problem with their rooms. The staff on Reception were the most helpful I have come across, they took us to view the room to ensure we were happy with this booking and during our two night stay approached us to check we were still happy. Full...

This is small hotel 10 min from Victoria station. My single room was really tiny, but clean and well equipped. Even boiler to make tea or coffee in the room. Bed very comfortable. And it was silent at night. I like to sleep with open window and no noise disturbed me. Only downside was breakfast, which was very limited. But...

The hotel is under important renovation: plus: during evening and early morning no any problems, the workers were quiet. The room I had was very nice, simple, clean cons: the smell in my new room needed window open all night Other things to say: - breakfast room is simple with average choice. - at the reception one more smile could...

This hotel exemplifies the "penny wise, pound foolish" idiom. In the bathroom, which wasn't properly clean, there was half a roll of cheap toilet paper. Could you not afford a spare roll? Especially for a double room? The breakfast food, advertised as 'continental', was just toast with jam/butter. This was an hour before the breakfast period was schedule to close....

Nice lady on checkin. Our room had a balcony on to the street which was nice. But the room was very small but clean and tidy. Rather nice breakfast but the BF room was so busy. Nice budget hotel can't complain for what we paid.

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
