It was easy to get to from the bus station. Accommodated myself, teenage daughter and 3 nieces in the one room. Bathroom very tiny but usable. Good location to what we wanted. Good service, very friendly and helpful. We actually travelled Dec 2014. I thought I had already done a review but seems not.

2 out of 5 might seem a bit brutal, but I should emphasize that I wouldn't rule out staying here again. It was the cheapest place I found in this area, and it is an excellent location. The room was very small, and I didn't mind that a bit. The bathroom was so small that... okay, this is the point...

I don't take any pleasure in writing this review, as I wouldn't normally give a hotel a 'terrible' rating unless under extreme circumstances. We got very little sleep at his hotel, which should be the basic principle, so I had no other option but to leave this review. We arrived at the hotel at 1pm (an hour before checkin time)...

We stayed for 3 nights at the 3 star Carlton Hotel. We were really disappointed for the following: It is very expensive for the poor service given. The rooms were very small. We barely had space to move. When something runs out during breakfast it is not replaced. Breakfast lasts till 9 and when we arrived at 8 30 and...

We liked the neighbourhood from our previous visits and wanted something cheap and convenient for our 3 days stay. So we got it. That is why we ignored the winding staircase, the tiny room and basic breakfast. We had everything we needed close by - cafes, supermarkets, an underground station and the 24 bus stop. Victoria Coach station is a...

checkin was very easy, room was nice and clean with tea, coffee etc and a bathroom although a Little small. Breakfast was continental but offered plenty. This hotel is perfect for a stayover and to explore the city. Would definitely recommend.

Check in time is strict or pay 25£ extra. Wireless internet is 5£ extra. Room prices are low but so is what you get with old sheets, worn mattress, tired towels. It was just a place to stay. Breakfast is included but I had to leave before breakfast time.

We needed a last minute hotel late one evening and booked this online as it was cheap and in a convenient location to Victoria Coach station. I was a bit concerned as some of the reviews weren't great but at this point we were so tired we just needed a safe place to sleep! I was pleasantly surprised by the...

The size of the room was ok, if staying one night maximum. But the bathroom in the ensuite room is like a plastic unit attached to it and it was not properly cleaned. The room as well was not that clean. Fire exit was blocked by a hover on the way. Not going back to the hotel.

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
