Normally business visits mean staying at the Premier Inn off Russell Square which is great. However due to some event in London, prices were beyond booking limit and I was given Travelodge instead. So it was with a certain apprehension that I approached my stay... Well, what a pleasant surprise! Check in was quick and no problems, reception and bar...

We stayed in the Travelodge in Covent Garden, the room was spacious, clean and quiet despite the hotel being very busy. The staff were friendly and helpful and the bar was reasonably priced for a hotel bar

Surprisingly excellent hotel, in fact best Travelodge we have stayed in. Situated within stroll of tube stations, cafes, bars, restaurants and theatres. Very clean and tidy, good breakfast buffet selection of hot and cold food, with staff to assist and clear tables. Reception staff member overworked from 2.30pm to 4pm during main checking time, but remained polite and helpful, allowing...

We always stay in Travelodge hotels when having short stays in London for their good value for money. We get a clean and comfy bed and a good shower for a very reasonable price in central London. And we do not expect more. But Covent Garden needs a facelift. Covent Garden is in a very central location within walking distance...

Booked this hotel based on location around Covent Garden, was ideal in terms of bars, theatres and tube station in close proximity. Room generally was clean and well presented, but if you want a little more than a few hours sleep hours sleep then I'd recommend asking for a room change if you are in 501 (or any other x01...

We booked a package theatre and hotel break and we picked this hotel as it was ideal location for the theatre we were going too. This is our first time staying at a Travelodge hotel with friends. We arrived at 12 and normal checkin is from 3pm but if we payed £10 we can checkin early. The rooms we were...

Our room (214) was a bit run down and there was a nasty smell coming permanently up from the plug holes in the bathroom but the bed was super comfy and done the job of somewhere to get a few hours sleep. Would stay here again purely because the location is great

Amazing customer service. I had made an error in my booking and the reception did all they could to accommodate myself which they did straight away and without asking. Bedroom and general building was clean and tiny. Very comfy.

Usual travelodge ideally situated - we walked almost everywhere apart for the Tower. We were never bothered by any noise at night and felt secure. Room was clean however housekeeping made couple of small errors e.g. emptying the bin but leaving the bin liner in the room, leaving the windows wide open all day so that when we returned late...

Staying in Covent Garden

Covent Garden
Whether you're headed here to check out the multitude of shops, theaters, cafes, pubs, and restaurants, or simply to be among the multitude of people who pass through this pretty part of town, you'll love soaking up the festive and historic atmosphere in and around Covent Garden. Even if you don't have tickets to the opera or a show at one of the many famous theaters here, don't be surprised if find yourself captivated by some impromptu act of a street performer wowing the crowds in Covent Garden's Piazza. If you do have tickets, you'll be pleased to note that many of the local eateries accommodate theatergoers with prix fixe menus, early dinners, and later than usual opening hours.
