Travellers' Choice
This hotel is a beautifully renovated Victorian London townhouse, located in the heart of fashionable South Kensington. The Bailey's Hotel London combines style and character, and is one of the most traditional and popular hotels in the area. The hotel has completed refurbishment of all guest rooms in October 2015. Quintessentially English in décor and style, the rooms have been designed with the comfort of our guests in mind, and combine unique features and furnishings with modern amenities. The interior of the hotel is extremely elegant and retains many of its original features, with its sweeping staircase, stained glass windows and intricate stonework. Situated opposite Gloucester Road underground station, this hotel offers access to many transport links and is perfectly positioned for guests visiting many of the British capital's most popular attractions. These places of interest include Hyde Park, the Royal Albert Hall, Kensington Palace and the Victoria and the Victoria& Albert Museum.

Stayed at the hotel for two nights with my husband. On arrival the reception staff were really friendly and helpful. Room was beautiful- clean with beautiful decor. Bathroom was clean and the shower was excellent. The location of the hotel is fantastic- we were able to walk to all the attractions and shops easily. Also lots of excellent restaurants close by. Breakfast was good and plentiful- staff were helpful and eager to please. All in all an excellent hotel with a fantastic location would highly recommend.

I booked a double room with extra bed clearly noted on my reservation to get to check in and be told by a rude man on reception that I had to pay an extra £100 for a sofa bed ? I do t think so as my confirmation clearly states 2 adults and a child , I had even queried this with the reception days before out visit The room was ridiculously small , could only fit one person in the bathroom and everything was dusty The sofa bed they provided us with was shocking with big sharp exposed metal hinges on which my daughter bruised her back on, was so old just needed taking to the tip and to think they tried to charge an extra £100 !! Bar staff were lovely but that was it Our room wasn’t cleaned once in 4 days that is wrong A lady at check out had t had anyone clean her room for a whole week and reception couldn’t care less ! I was glad to check out , location is great but lots of other nice hotels to choose from
