We just finished our fourth stay at this conveientently-placed hotel in Kensington. Across the street from the Glouester Road tube station, the service, food and accommodations were excellent. There is a very well-trained staff as well. The breakfast buffet is very good and the associated bar at night is both comfortable and attractive. 4 out of 5 place for sure.

We recently stayed at the Baileys for a long weekend and second honeymoon. What an incredible place - in a perfect location for seeing the beautiful city of London. The hotel has been recently refurbished and updated. The rooms Was beautiful with updated, modern bathrooms. There are many different restaurants walkable from the hotel in addition to little local shops....

I stayed at The Bailey's for 2 nights in late November and was very impressed by the quality of the hotel. The room was nicely decorated and spacious. Just two minor gripes - the wifi was supposed to be private and accessible only by a code, but in fact access was open and consequently the wifi kept dropping off (too...

I have waited two weeks to write this review to give the hotel management a chance to deal with my complaint adequately. I have had one short e-mail that arrived three or four days after our stay but the problem that we had experienced was, in my opinion, not properly recognised and the offer of a 20% refund was not...

The Bailey's is just across the way from the Gloucester tube station which is awesome! It has the Circle, District and Piccadilly line which goes to Heathrow. There are many great eateries nearby, and you can walk to the V&A and other museums. The hotel room is nice and clean and newly remodeled, but the bathroom is tiny--super clean, but...

We stayed for 3 nights from 24th November 2016. The hotel couldn't be more conveniently located. Turn right out of Gloucester Road Tube station and the hotel is right in front of you. All the staff were very friendly whether at reception, in the dining room or maintenance people we met in the corridors. We requested a quiet room with...

The location, staff and décor/furnishings were great. The staff was really helpful, whether helping us with our sight seeing, giving recommendations or welcoming us in each time. The location is great, right across from the entrance to Gloucester Road tube station. The hotel room was very modern and very comfortable.

Let start with the minuses: - the room door has some small holes and scratches - the windows are not closing properly in the bathroom and is very cold. It doesn't have a way to heat it. But with all these minuses is still worth 5 stars. The room has an air of old combined with new. Very nice feeling....

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
