The Royal Horseguards provided not only bath robes, but disposable slippers. And not only slippers and robes, but two recliners. When we came back after running around for hours, transitioning between day activity and dinner, we had very restful hours, reclining in the robes and slippers. My husband would often nap and I would recline, listening to a podcast (noble blood – perfect to enjoy in this environment), and resting my feet, luxuriating in a decadent state. A quiet space in central London. The comfort and cleanliness of the room and the easy, late-afternoon reprieve made our vacation more enjoyable. I wish the hotel hadn’t been so stingy with the ice buckets, though. We’re American, ffs, we like a lot of ice.

This hotel was perfect for our first trip to London. It is a lovely property within walking distance to Buckingham Palace, the London Eye, and many other historic London sights. The staff treated us very well and our room was so quiet and comfortable! We also loved that access to the Underground is across the street. We would definitely stay here again if we come to London.

Fabulous location, with tube station nearby. Breakfast buffet was quite good, and there was staff available there when needed. The front desk staff and concierge staff were also helpful and pleasant. I would definitely stay again in this hotel. Walking distance to many attractions including Buckingham Palace, Churchill War Rooms, Big Ben/Elizabeth Tower, London Eye among many others. Walking distance to Covent Garden.

I was stopping in a standard room so didn't expect a large bathroom, but i was pleasantly surprised to find a full bath. The bed itself was amazing, very comfortable encouraging a good nights sleep. The breakfast was a little disappointing, for a 5* hotel you'd expect table service but it was a buffet where the scrambled eggs needed an extra 5 mins of cooking and they put out chips (not a breakfast item in my view) instead of hash browns. Overall though it was a good visit and i will definitely be stopping there again when i visit London for work

Dear Katie B, Thank you for your stay at the Royal Horseguards Hotel and your review. I am delighted to see that you enjoyed your stay with us and enjoyed the service provided by our dedicated team. First time senior age couple on our 1st trip to London, England. Our hotel, The Royal Horseguards exceeded all of our expectations! The staff, especially Abdi, at the reception desk and the housekeeping staff were very professional, informed and kind. There was one small problem in the bathroom. Abdi at the front desk was "on it" and had the issue fixed immediately. Our deluxe double king room was beautiful and so well furnished and stocked. The hotel is lovely and very quiet. The Royal Horseguards is situated close to several "must see" sights, pubs and shops. We couldn't have been happier. Thank you to The Royal Horseguards Hotel!

Great location for both business and leisure as there are plenty of sights to see. Amazing hotel staff and very clean, comfortable environment. The room has great air conditioning and heated floors which you can change the temp of manually. The lights in the room are great as you can control them from any corner of the room so you don't have to get out of bed to turn off the lights.
