In stark contrast to an excellent first visit here, this stay was nowhere near the same standard. Firstly I had trouble with the wifi door lock system which requires both hands to be free, difficult when you're carrying luggage. Depsite being an HHonors Diamond member at no point were any benefits explained to me, and indeed my room was not...

So you're paying a lot for this hotel, and in almost every area it's an excellent expeirence. The concierge and reception staff were helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. We paid for breakfast which was excellent and the standard of our room was great. It would been nice to have a mini-bar or fridge in there but...

Booked to dine at Le Garoche ( wow a must do). Hotel 3 minutes away therefore ideal location. Concierge was amazing ( Maroun) went above and beyond what was expected. For him alone was worth the stay. Room nice, however would be better with a bath.

Stayed here for two nights with my partner. The hotel itself is very nice, clean, easy access from Main Street. We were upgraded to a king executive suite which was lovely, the room was spacious, clean and had all amenities that you would need. Breakfast was good had nice variety and you order eggs when you sit down so they...

Just off Marble Arch and Oxford Street - so tick that box if you are looking for central London location. BUT .... rooms are tiny and the price paid was cheap even by London standards. I am a Hilton Honors member and had hoped that I might be able to use status to get a reasonable upgrade price but nothing...

The hotel lobby was nicely decorated and the staff were friendly enough. The doubletree cookies on arrival are always a bonus! Another plus is the fantastic location just behind oxford street, so perfect if you are looking for a shopping trip. The room we stayed in was priced at just under £200 per night which I thought was very pricey...

Great location and great service. The staff is friendly and helpful. They remember you and your preferences from the door. Maroun, our Concierge, was amazing! Not wanting the usual, he found us a driver for a Jane Austin tour, a family friendly local Italian restaurant, and even a dentist when I broke a tooth. If you want to see London...

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
