Perfect location, so close to all shops, perfect to return to with lots of shopping, ready to start again. Taxi rank at hotel door, perfect if you don't want to use the tube. Comfortable lounge area beside the bar.

I needed a hotel room that could accommodate three adults, and I wanted the hotel to be in/near the Mayfair/Soho area. I looked at many hotels before deciding on the Doubletree; this hotel had the best price in the best location based on those requirements. We stayed in room 402 (one queen bed and one twin) and I felt it...

Not a bad place to stay but a couple of minor improvements could make it an excellent stay. Hilton Honors rooms on the 3rd floor were a little on the small side but very clean and tidy. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

Everything was excellent, the men at the main door made you feel welcome, even once checked out they were running to find us a taxi, there was one problem, when I checked in the receptionist asked if we would like to give him credit card details, to add any items to the rooms, drinks, etc. Which he put a hold...

Enjoyable short-stay, quiet yet a fantastic central location so we managed to fit-in a lot of activities (sight-seeing, shopping, dining-out....etc). Our 2nd visit to this hotel as we found it very family-friendly and is truly value-for-money. Breakfast was OK.

I've been a gold member with Hilton for years and am usually VERY happy with the chain. this time, not so much. yes - great location, nice staff, not too bad breakfast, helpful concierge but... *if you're a gold member don't expect that to earn you the perks that you're used to receiving (at least until you complain). *I would...

The hotel is in an ideal location just off Oxford street which is perfect for shopping, close to the tube station and Hyde Park. All the staff were exceedingly friendly and attentive. Our room was big enough for three adults and located at the back of the hotel where we didn't encounter any noise. Would definitely stay here again.

Hello, we stayed here in November 2013 and booked it again because of its location. We asked for a room at the back of the hotel which was supposed to be a quiet room (in front you get a lot of noise from the traffic) but had the bad surprise to have a huge construction being built. So lots of...

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
