I am beyond impressed with my stay at this Travelodge. I chose to stay in a "Superroom" due to the website stating these rooms are quieter, which in London is a blessing. But I am more than impressed with the quality here. The room and bathroom are absolutely pristine, with high tech air con/heating and lighting (see photo). The shower...

Stayed for 2 with my boyfriend in April 2017, this hotel was the perfect location for a trip to London. Very friendly staff and lovely clean rooms, 24 hour bar and restaurant which was amazing value for the money.

This hotel is great value for money, the staff go above and beyond to help you if you need it. We paid additional for breakfast at the check in desk which was definitely worth it, we arrived at breakfast approximately around 8am every day and never had a problem to seat four people. Both rooms were clean and newly refurbished....

Recently refurbished, we were lucky to stay just this travelodge just as the re-fit was near completion, everywhere seemed brand new, super comfy bed, fab coffee machine in the room, spotlessly clean everywhere, friendly and helpful staff, just missing hand towels in the bathroom, not sure if this is the norm though as we stayed in another travelodge the following...

You get a lot of hotel for the money. Travelodge is always a safe choice and I'm always very pleased with the staff and the room. What I also like very much is the price It's doesn't cost much either.

Stayed here for two nights whilst seeing a bit of London. The nearest tube is a bit of a walk but we new this and walked to most places anyway. The room was a good standard. Clean and practical. I would stay here again.

Stayed here for one night in between staying at a 5 star hotel. To be fair this hotel was better than the 5 star on a few points. Breakfast was amazing and extremely well priced. Staff were all kind and lovely. Room was extremely clean and fresh. The hotel has had a new refit so everything was brand new. Fresh...

Not sure why there is so many bad reviews for this hotel... We stayed over Easter weekend for 3 nights arrived early where we was asked if we wanted to either leave our luggage with them or pay £10 for early check in. We did the early check in which we didn't mind paying for, our room was on the...

Staying in Clerkenwell

Neighbourhood Profile
Clerkenwell
Owing to its proximity to Smithfield Market – the site of an ancient meat market which remains in operation today – Clerkenwell boasts a plethora of globally renowned restaurants, fabulous local eateries, and some of London's favorite pubs. This isn't merely a focal point for all things foodie though. Spend enough time wondering through the area's maze of streets and you might become accustomed to the litany of slinky models passing between Clerkenwell's handful of fashion houses. Far outnumbering the models are craftspeople and designers, many of them are more than happy to welcome visitors into their studios and showrooms.
