Room on the 9th floor , with a lot of kitchen smells in the corridor. But there is no smell in the room. Very tiny roomy... it is quiet and you have everything in the room. Towels are clean and new. Average quality of products.

Efficient check-in - and check out - at least 3 people on the desk so not the usual waiting around for the one person available to get to you. Nice choice of bars with good service (despite coming in with what appeared to be half the theatre audience) and the opportunity for late night food in the bar. Never really...

Once again, for the third time in a year my wife and I have stayed at this wonderful hotel. It is central to Theatre land, Soho, shops and Covent Garden. From the very moment the doorman greets you and you enter the foyer the air is filled with a friendly atmosphere. Although our room was not ready we were able...

So. Originally I was going to give it so nice of a review but waited until the end of my trip. The hotel is actually great. It's centrally located in London to just about everything. The staff was all extremely helpful. Downside, the hotel needs a major face lift. It is not up to date and all the decor is...

I visited this hotel on a business trip this week and I must say that although first impressions were good, first impressions are not everything. As soon as I walked into my room, there was a ridiculously loud drilling noise and loud voices. I opened up the rickety wooden shutters to reveal an indoor building site (pictures attached) that was...

Thank you strand palace for another wonderful stay. Arrived at 9.30 am and rooms were ready. Check in really quick and staff very friendly. We were on 4th floor. Rooms very quiet which is what we asked for. Rooms are small but have everything you need and beds are really comfortable. Concierge staff are very helpful. Breakfast is really nice...

I must say that the location of this hotel is perfect. It's easy to walk to St Pauls, Westminster, Coventry Gardens, etc. Even though I was traveling for work, I found the opportunity to see a lot of sights purely because of the location. This would be perfect for a holiday stay. The room (which I believe was a standard)...

I stayed at the Strand Palace for a few nights in March and I would totally recommend it. The location can't be beat and the room was comfortable. I was on the 6th floor and, although close to the elevator, wasn't bothered by any noise. The room was large and clean, the view was ugly, the bathroom teeny tiny but...

We have stayed here before. You will struggle to find a better location for central London the only problem is we have not slept well on either visit. The room is clean as is the hotel & the check in/out process is efficient. Make sure you include the breakfast which is good value.

Check in was quite slow as they'd overbooked but they did give us a larger room. The smaller rooms must be very small! Also found reception slow at check out too. Thought for the price and location it was a good deal though.

Dear Guest, Many thanks for taking the time to review the Strand Palace Hotel and for your feedback. While I am delighted that we have given you a complimentary upgrade to a larger room than what you have booked, I am very sorry that you had to wait, both when checking in and when checking out. Being a large Property,...

Covent Garden
Whether you're headed here to check out the multitude of shops, theaters, cafes, pubs, and restaurants, or simply to be among the multitude of people who pass through this pretty part of town, you'll love soaking up the festive and historic atmosphere in and around Covent Garden. Even if you don't have tickets to the opera or a show at one of the many famous theaters here, don't be surprised if find yourself captivated by some impromptu act of a street performer wowing the crowds in Covent Garden's Piazza. If you do have tickets, you'll be pleased to note that many of the local eateries accommodate theatergoers with prix fixe menus, early dinners, and later than usual opening hours.
