We used a website to book in with the hotel. We were booked in twice by mistake by the website company. The hotel receptionists was not interested or sympathetic and charged us a cancellation fee of nearly £200. On the last day I spoke to another member of staff who told me I hadn't been charged and was given a...

I spent 3 nights at this very popular hotel and it was fully booked. The rooms were more spacious than other central london hotels, but the amenities are basic. The location is ideal as it is walking distance from the theatres, Covent Garden and Trafalgar Square. The concierge desk was very helpful. The hotel is extremely busy at breakfast time....

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review and I am really pleased that you we will have the pleasure of welcoming you back, hopefully in the not too distant future. Our location is indeed ideal for both theatres and places of interest, and I am pleased you enjoyed our £15 of Palace Pound vouchers which you received due to you...

First of all let us get the good part of the review out of the way. The location is great. Now the bad, the bedrooms are tiny and poorly laid out, the bathrooms are tiny, the bed is uncomfortable and the room was too hot the whole time. The lighting in the room terrible. The staff is on the most...

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review. Regarding your check in we do on many occasions find that travellers book twin rooms rather than singles for cost purposes. So if we have single rooms available we will offer guests the option of two singles rather than a twin on check in. I am sorry if this was inappropriate and meant...

This hotel was the last stop of our 10 days vacation. The hotel is in a very good location as we had tickets for the theater just across the street. There are 3 or 4 theaters around this location and rest of the theaters are in Piccadilly Circus area. London is a spread out large city. The hotel (we were...

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review and highlighting our position in the heart of theatreland. I am pleased that you were satisfied with both your bedroom and the public areas in the hotel and would advise that the corridor on the 8th floor will be refurbished in the very near future. I do hope that on your next visit...

This is as a previous reviewed said tired and old and expensive for what it delivers. I stayed in a King Executive. The room was an ok size with no view, the bathroom was spotless but tiny with nowhere to put your toilet bag except over a shelf above the toilet away from the basin. The shower was small and...

Dear Guest, I am sorry that you had what was clearly an unsatisfactory stay with us. With the number of rooms we have in the hotel we do have many different categories and sizes of rooms, and had we been made aware of you dissatisfaction during your stay we could have offered you an alternative room type. Your comments regarding...

It was my first time to London and we wanted to stay centrally located so we chose this hotel. Pros: hotel has an excellent location and the breakfast was great and plentiful, kept us full for most of the day! Cons: the front desk staff were not the friendliest - I had asked for decaf tea in my room one...

Stayed at this hotel several times, it's super busy, rooms are very small, breakfast is good (cheaper cafe next door) but its location is just fantastic. In the past had inside facing rooms overlooking a central courtyard but this time stayed in a room overlooking Burleigh Street and the Lyceum Theater. Around 6am noisy service trucks start to use this...
