Never ask a lady how old she is but my fiancee has just had a big Birthday and as part of her celebrations I booked 3 nights in the Judy Garland suite in The Gore Hotel in Kensington. There is a but in this review,...More
Thank you for making our visit to London so memorable. My friend and I absolutely loved our stay at The Gore!
This hotel is so charming and the location is great. There are many restaurants nearby and the tube is a 5 minute walk.
Just an overnight stay whilst visiting the Royal Albert Hall - literally 3 mins walk. The room was wonderful, and the hotel full of culture and history. Excellent bar and the staff very helpful and friendly.
No shower caps in the bathroom though!

With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming
and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
