If you can manage to get a good price on the rooms which is best if you book in advance on a saver rate, then you don’t mind paying that price for what you get. I managed to get a room for 4 nights at just over £100 a night which I consider reasonable for London. Normal rack rates will...

I do not know where to begin. Nothing went well on our recent stay. Rooms were like saunas. Concierge charged us to make a phone call we asked him to make. Our room was about the size of a cruise ship room. Would NOT stay again! The only positive I have to say is the hotel is down the street...

Stayed here with 7 colleagues on business in February 2013. Hotel is still ok, clean and in pretty good condition. Rooms clean and tidy with comfy beds, decent size for London, with great views from the 19th floor. Staff friendly enough, food ok. Good location. Only real gripe was £33 for parking!

I was given a room on the 27th floor. Stunning views, but that was as good as it got. The room was quite cramped with extremely sharp edged furniture. Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
