I ended up running out of options when making a business trip and having to pay £120 for the privilage of staying here for one night; London Fashion Week meant everything was booked up. On initial glances it looked a bit rough around the edges but OK. On peeling back the duvet I found some suspicious looking hairs in the... More

The Corona was perfect for our 24-hour stay in London. The location is excellent. The Shuttle to the airport is a good value and the staff was very helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel for sightseers. You can easily was to Buckingham Palace and Parliament. The stroll down the Thames is great. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The... More

The staff were very polite and courteous. The breakfast was pretty basic but filled a gap! The rooms are small but were spotlessly clean, however it was very hot. There is no air conditioning and the windows won't stay open. Having said all that it was in an ideal place to access the tube - it is very close to... More

I've been in this hotel for 3 nights on the beginning of June 2010 with my girlfriend. The room was small, as almost everyone in London but it was what we expected. Small, but clean and suficient for everything we needed. There was some noise during the night because our room was next to the elevator. We heard lot of... More

My daughter and I stayed at the Best Western Corona from July 1 - 3. It was clean, friendly and in a great location. It was only 2 blocks from the Pimlico tube station, and taking the #24 bus was even easier to Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abby, the Tower of London, and to the West End theatre district. The room... More

I would use this hotel again. Nice reasonably sized room. Big sash windows that you can open. My room was back facing, quiet with great view towards parliament over the roof tops.

As many of the previous reviewer have noted, the rooms in this hotel are small. I was in a single and though I don’t think a human could touch both walls, I did have to pause to consider the question. The wall paper and paint in the rooms were fresh and the bathroom seemed recently renovated. Everything was clean and... More

This is your typical small hotel room in London as the building is a converted Victorian. The standard double room only allowed for one person to dress and get ready while the other person sat on the bed. Our luggage did take up some of the available space but the floor area was very small. The bathroom only allowed one... More

Good location and quite clean. Breakfast was good and the staff was helpful. However: London was having an unusual heat wave (28C) and the water pipes are not insulated so we had NO cold water. We're not kidding! They need to upgrade that system and at least install ceiling fans. We were provided a tiny fan that didn't help much.... More

The rooms here must be the smallest in all Europe! We were first assigned room no. G01. When we opened the toilet, it was smelly and blotted!! We were then moved to 401. The TV was a 12" black box, born before the war!! My wife and I are still debating which was smaller--the table fan or the shower cubicle!!... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
