Different class. Very well located just off Oxford Street, 5 mins from Marble Arch and Regent Street. An exceptional place to stay - staff are outstanding - friendly - high customer service ethic - nothing is too much trouble.

We stayed for just the one night and had informed the hotel staff that we were celebrating our daughter's birthday. There was a lovely surprise for her in the room including a gift bag full of goodies and a complimentary birthday cake (which we all thoroughly enjoyed!). We stayed in a junior suite which was clean, tidy, and of a...

Stayed at hotel from Dec.3-12. Rooms were old and major issues with shower drainage. It clogs up. Also, the heating system malfunctioned. We were like getting toasted inside the room. Thermostat was malfunctioning. The staff Prajina and Beirut were helpful. We were upgraded to a room overlooking the park. Breakfast was ok at the hotel . Before leaving for airport...

This hotel does not provide even the most basic facilities even though they charge premium rates. They charge 5 pounds for an adapter (and no, they do not have universal charging points in their rooms), have 1/3rd of their elevators disfunctional, and have a concierge who did not even know the walking distance to Harrods. The concierge sent us to...

This is an expensive hotel with 2 star quality. The room was basic and looking straight into air conditioners. A power converter is 5 pounds and the only amenity is a mediocre workout room. Yes it has history and prestige but location you can get at many other hotels that are more modern and have free internet, access to power...

Long story; My brother was back from Australia and staying in London (we live in Wales). He is staying in Mayfair so we decide to stay nearby. We chose the Millennium as it is local. Really liked the location of the hotel but the rooms are tired and need a major overhaul. Breakfast selection was fantastic and the service was okay. Overall, good value for money over the holiday period given that we were a large group and had booked several rooms at this hotel.

Clean, comfortable and cosy hotel. Average size room. Small bathroom. Directly across from underground station. Easy to access main sights in London. We never had to use 2 trains to get anywhere. Breakfast is basic, but all you need. Our room faced the main road so was a little noisy but we hardly noticed.

My sister and I stayed at this hotel for 1 night. It was very bad. It took them a long time to check us in. The first bathroom smelled horrible and when I wash my face the water was not clean. When we told them they gave us another room, the cold water was clean and everything was fine until...

Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
