WE visited here on a saturday in September for a lovely afternoon tea. the staff were very attentive and a great selection of teas. The scones were soft and it was nice to have lemon curd instead of jam. An unusual selection of petit four and creme brulee for sweet items

It is a very busy hotel at Mayfair London. Location is very good. We arrived around 9.30 pm. No one at concierge. Had to carry our luggage ...a lot of them. Rooms were Average. Very good breakfast. However, No one cared about you. I suppose in the Wimbledon final weekend that is how it is. We were later on given...

Not my first stay here and I had hoped the rooms would have undergone a much-needed refurbishment, but they haven't. Housekeeping is badly-trained and leaves much to be desired: The drinking glasses in the room were changed the first day, and subsequently all used glasses remained as is, until I asked the maid to please do it, and she replied...

Great staff and service, and location is fantastic, but broken shower doors, worn carpet and older beds/furniture lessen the value of the money you'll have to spend to stay here. The fish and chips from room service, however, is some of the best I've ever had!

Lovely ambience and spectacular service, this hotel deserves all the kudos! Upon entering the staff greeted us and offered this weary traveler a glass of fruit flavoured water. The room was perfectly appointed and room-service was prompt. This is the perfect destination for a London weekend.

Couldn't have askedfor a better location in central london. Rooms are slightly smaller but totally manageable. Staff are excellent, very helpful. In fact booking.com. made a blunder with our booking but the hotel guys gave us a free upgrade. It houses some excellent restaurants , especially Avista - the Italian one. Our six yr old also enjoyed the stay however...

The service quality is ok in general, but the check in staff is not much friendly and customer friendly. The room was ok,...

Struggled to find a hotel at short notice so ended up here. The nightly rate was expensive (thank goodness I was only here for 2 nights) & the room was very small & up in the top of the hotel. Didn't have a view & the windows were very dirty. However the room was quiet & reasonably appointed. I arrived...

Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
