Just had to go to a family wedding at the Ritz (incredibly wonderful) but for me the cost of the rooms were a little to high for my meagre salary. Booked the Hilton Green Park and had a quick and helpful check in and a good size room that was clean and comfortable. Interestingly I had also booked a room...

Situated off Piccadilly, there is a sub/ tube station five minutes away. Entrance to The Green Park is there as well as newspaper stands, food kiosks & bike rentals. Also tour buses pick- up here. The hotel restaurant serves excellent food but is expensive. It does participate in an online voucher programme, however, that is quite popular. The staff were terrific....

Stayed one night on business trip and chosen essentially for location. Hilton Honors member but didn't feel was treated as such. Quite expensive (even for London these days) and room originally given was very small twin at front of hotel on ground floor with lots of traffic noise. Asked for a change and to be fair was relocated quickly to...

We booked the Chocolate Afternoon tea with Champagne, 2 for £49. Cheaper than a lot of other West End hotels but not up to the same standard I'm afraid. The sandwiches tasted nice and fresh but the bread was like cheap supermarket sliced loaves, nothing to write home about. The scones again seemed to be freshly baked but that was...

The Hilton London Green Park was chosen due to location and it must be said that the location is wonderful if you are planning to much be around Piccadilly, Mayfair, Hyde Park and the royal gardens. The hotel itself on the other hand turned out to be something of a disappointment, taking into account the price tag and the Hilton...

I stay here frequently and it is my 'home from home' in London. The facilities are extremely comfortable, the Mayfair position is attractive, and above all the staff are friendly, welcoming and very professional - from Rovena and her team on the Front desk, to the concierge and the restaurant and bar staff, all of them.

Spent 3 nights at this hotel and will never go back. The rooms are decorated with what looks like furniture from a Salvation Army store. The room I had overlooked Half Moon Street, where the noise is incredible. Drunks wandering by at 3am followed closely by delivery vehicles at 4am. The bathroom was incredibly small and was just functional. Using...

Me and my boyfriend stayed for two nights early on in September. I had stayed at many hiltons before so I knew they wouldn't disappoint. As we approached the hotel the outside didn't look to pleasant but once you walked in it was lovely. Our greet at reception could of been a little more friendly. We were able to check...

Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
