When I'd checked out originally back in December, I'd seen a charge that looked strange: inquiring into it, the woman at checkout said it was for the hotel restaurant, which I hadn't used. I asked them to produce the receipt for the charge, and when they showed it to me I showd them signature was not mine (matched it to...

Upon arriving at the hotel, the lobby was small, but nicely appointed. The check-in process was quick and I was up in...

Doormen make this hotel. Seriously. Bar could use updating and better bar bite selection. Very limited. Room was adequate. Location is superb! Easy to get to Bond Street, Embassy, Regent Street, tube, etc. Stay here for location. No frills worth mentioning.

Just the best location, friendly staff & a nice hotel. Room was nice but bathroom refurb was poor quality for a 5 star hotel. Wooden floor in bedroom made it feel cold too. As a Marriott gold member we weren't upgraded but did get to use the Club lounge. Yes, it is in the basement but it makes no difference....

Check In / Check Out: was outstanding. Staff: they are friendly and willing to help. Lobby: small lobby. Room: the room size was great with enough space to move around compared to hotels room sizes in London. Wi-Fi: free Breakfast buffet: it was good, but they need to have more variety for the guests. Concierge Service: they need to be...

Nice centric hotel with awesome service. It is right in the middle of Mayfair, close to new Bond street, Saville row, the underground, Hyde Park, etc. We arrived early from Atlanta, our room was not ready, so later on that night the hotel staff brought us a bottle of wine with a selection of cheeses. The executive lounge has a...

Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
