Dear MrIan2015 Thank you for taking the time to post a review on TripAdvisor following on from your recent stay with us. I am so sorry that your stay fell below your expectations on this occasion. I have raised your point regarding being charged for internet when this was included with the Front Office Team. I would like to ask...

Got an upgrade due to my Platinum status. Comfy beds. The lounge is very good and the food is also very nice plus the staff are more than helpful. The Luggage Room is a cute speakeasy type of bar within the hotel and the bar staff are excellent mixologists. Also check out Gordon Ramsey's restaurant, Maize. The hotel is next...

Stayed here on business and from start to finish it was 5 star from check in to the afternoon tea to the evening meal at Ramsey's grill! Awesome clean and I will be back and highly recommend!! Power shower and clean room!! Plus the big function room looked impressive on the second night we dined here!

Location is #1 for me. My dinners are in Mayfair and I like to walk back to my hotel. If I forget something (e.g stockings), Selfridges is 2 blocks away. If you work in the financial district, the Central line is 3 blocks away, and it's 4 stops to St. Pauls. There are just a couple things that bother me...

Being a Gold Member, I got upgraded to a bigger room, and with the corporate rate, cannot beat the rate for 5 stars in this central London location, in Mayfair, steps from Hyde Park, Oxford Street, and a 10 minute walk to my London office. Very interesting 1920's style bar on basement level, set up like a speakeasy. Very good...

I hate to say I was disappointed Because I just wanted to love this property. We used points to pay for this but, I still had to pay 1,000 U.S. Dollars added on. I knew this when I booked and was prepared to pay but, ended up being mad because the service was just average for such a highly stared...

Excellent location, and mostly friendly staff providing very good, professional service. Check-in at 4:00pm is a little annoying and the promise to call me earlier when my room was ready never materialised. The connecting door to an adjacent room was poorly insulated so conversations could be overheard.

Stayed here for a second time - the first time was 5 years ago. Pros - Great location - you are within minutes from Oxford street and Bond street and all the shopping in between - Lobby front desk staff and bell staff were very professional, friendly and accommodating. When I checked in, they didn't have a room at 2pm,...

Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
