Great location but this is like a hostel. Tatty building, broken furniture, not a nice place to stay. The location, however, is fabulous! There are better hotels in this area at much the same price level, so I advise giving this one a miss.

I booked this hotel for a trip to London for me and my daughter after a few drinks. When I read the reviews the following day I was a bit anxious as there were lots of negative comment. Well, we were pleasantly surprised. ok, I have stayed in bigger and smarter hotel rooms but to have a room in the...

This hotel does exactly what it says on the tin, it's one of the cheapest hotels so close to the West End (there's literally a theatre at the end of the road). Whilst we only stayed one night, the room was a good size and a great location. The heating was very good as it was January and the room...

I stayed here for one night and paid an over-priced £75 for the privilege. My room was very basic to say the least. The bedding and towels were clean, but the room was fairly grubby with cobwebs on the ceiling, worn and manky carpet, tired fixtures and fittings and a old loose lock on the door. A lick of paint,...

We stayed for one night and that was enough. We paid £80 for a double room and it is the absolute basics. No kettle, no hair dryer, the bathroom was so small that you could have a shower while sat on the toilet and the TV was on top of the wardrobe so you had the corner of the wardrobe...

My friend and I came for a cheap trip to get an early start in the morning to look round exhibits etc. Which is what we got. However, when we got into the room, there were NO DUVETS! only towels and extremely thin blankets. We then went down to reception to double check that the duvets didn't come with the...

The toilet was disgusting (there was "a shower" too and it was basically the toilet). Dirty rooms (so small that the luggages barely entered in it) and NO BREAKFAST. They say free breakfast but there was no breakfast at all (and the staff wasn't nice). If you pay in euro they apply a change that is 1£=1.50€ (so it is...

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
