Now this is not the Ritz but what it lacks in "stars" it more than makes up for in location terms. It is literally just around the corner from Paddington Station. We only stayed one night as we were attending an event in London. We booked quite late so we got the last twin room at the front of the...

Stayed here last weekend for an impromptu night in London. Excellent value including parking and breakfast. Rooms were a little dated but in a homely old fashioned way. Even so the bed was fresh and comfy, spare pillows provided and shower reasonably powerful! All staff were helpful. The location is fantastic. You are stones throw from two tube stations (Lancaster...

Very close to Paddington Station, just 5 min away. Rooms are clean and the breakfast is decent, staff is really friendly. But what really makes me downgrade my ranking is the size of the rooms. i couldnt even open my suitcase fully. Also, there is hardly coming any water in the shower and the "walls" beween the rooms are so...

Dear Christoph R. Thank you for airing your thoughts on Trip Advisor. Perhaps if you had aired your thoughts to us we could have offered you an upgrade from a standard single to a double room for single occupancy (for a nominal sum.) Our staff are always happy to help guests whose expectations are not quite what they are used...

Firstly, I have to say as far as the room facilities go the Mitre House Hotel is good, we stayed for 2 nights at the end of July this year and have no complaints about the Beds, Washing facilities or room size, and there were three adults in our particular party, in the one room. My main complaint centres around...

You can start by admitting that you are the same people that posted the last negative review titled "the good the bad" etc. Your decision to continue to abuse our reputation would have serious consequences if the readership were so gullible as to go along with your criticism of our staff. Luckily, trip advisor regulars can see your pathetic attempt...

Our quick trip to London was perfect staying at this gorgeous hotel! Our two adult children had an ajoining room and we shared a bathroom and toilet. The price was very economical for London! The breakfast was included and was very satisfying and delicious. Being waited on was a treat. The staff were very kind and helpful and they went...

We arrived in the hottest days of London and allocated a room facing the rear portion. It was so hot and I keep sweating all night. The staffs are so helpful and gave me their electric fan. After 2 night, the weather become not so hot and we found our rooms are better than others that it so quiet not...

Stayed a couple of nights at this (according to some sites) 3* hotel when in fact on the door is 2* and in reality I've been in better hostels. Absolutely no complaints about the room - clean and comfortable. However what really lets this place down is the staff and their evident lack of training and customer service skills. Nevertheless...

Dear Sir, Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us following your recent visit. Your comments regarding the comfort and cleanliness of the rooms is appreciated. What followed must be put down to a severe case of delirium. "Donald Trump", "politeness", "unprecedented rudeness" etc. may be the result of a night on the tiles that precipitated your last minute booking...

The staff at this hotel are some of the best that I have every met, super friendly and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located near Hyde Park, Paddington Station and Lancaster Gate underground. The hotel is comfortable and nice to stay in but could do with a modern upgrade. However, for the money that you pay it is great value...
