Excellent hotel, clean and comfortable, only 2 mins from Earls Court tube station and centrally located for all attractions. Buffet breakfast is of a high standard. Highly recommended hotel if you are planning a trip to London.

Family of five booked two rooms here. Unfortunately not connecting but still a great spot. Very convenient to both Earl's Court and Glouchester Road tube stations -- Piccadilly line is a direct shot to Heathrow and we used that to get to and from the hotel. Breakfast is very good and if you are Marriott Gold member it is complimentary....

Stayed during the summer in order to see some of the BBC Proms concerts. Hotel was just OK-it was worn, and the room was VERY small. I'm a Marriott rewards Platinum member, and was a bit disappointed in the lack of an upgrade during a seemingly slow time. Was an OK location though, as I could take the tube or...

Was here for training for work and I really could not fault the hotel. The staff were very friendly and aimed to please; we were well looked after. The food was also excellent. Very convenient location just a short walk from the natural history museum. Would definitely consider staying here in future.

We have spent four nights at the Marriott of South Kensington and it was perfect. The hotel itself is majestic, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast is to die for. The staff is more than professional. It was like being home in a much bigger and fancier home!

I had the pleasure to stay in this hotel for a business training of 3 days. The meetings imagine space was amazing, posh, fresh, very modern and upfront in technology! The hotel is cosy and all the staff from the OPs to the housekeeping staff passing to Dalia to the HR manager (that was in the lobby) and the bar...

Marriott Kensington is very convenintly located near 2 tube stations. Hotel staff is very nice and polite, rooms are vell equipped. Berakfast served in the hotel restaurant is very tasty. The biggest disadvanteges are the fact that room design is a bit outdated (rooms definitely should be renovated) as well as selection of food in Executive Lounge is very limited....

Our room was on the 1st floor, which is very low for a hotel room and it literally backed onto a flat roof, which was a bit off-putting. The room was also a bit on the small side for a Marriott, however, this is forgivable given the price paid and the furnishings were very nice. The price of breakfast however...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
