Breakfast is not included and if you want to have it in the morning you will have to queue for 30 mins ... Rooms are old fashion and not comfortable Roof bar view is very nice but drinks are expensive and bad quality level you will have to pay at least GBP 10 for an awful glass of chardonnay The...

This hotel is actually well located for both holiday or business needs. The hotel is recently refurbished and the facilities are pretty decent for a hotel in this segment…. However…. The staff and service are just so far below par and below adequate staffing levels. There is ALWAYS a line at reception at least to deep and as a result...

Stayed here for just the one night in November. Nice welcome at reception and lovely fresh cookies on arrival. While I arrived early and my room wasn't ready they did help me with somewhere to change and took care of my luggage till I could come back. There was a bit of a glitch over the room I was supposed...

I stayed on a Friday night but didn't have much time in the hotel as I checked in, had to go out for the night, returned late, slept and checked out. The hotel was booked for me by my company. The hotel is very much what you would expect from one of the big chains in a big city. It's...

Stayed here for the weekend with family, very happy with level of service. Only small annoyance was the lack of mini bar in the room and the small bathroom. Apart from that very good and an excellent location for all the sights of London! Would go again.

We stayed here for my husband's birthday. We arrived just before midday and thanks to the lovely lady on the desk we were able to check into our room. She even gave us a voucher for a free drink at the sky lounge. Room wasnt massive but was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Breakfast next morning was...

Spent 2 nights here in an executive room on the 9th floor. Sadly out Views were restricted. Hotel is very close to the Tower of London and Tower Bridge. Room was very comfortable, nice bed and pillows. Well stocked bathroom with mini toiletries. The 12th floor sky lounge is an asset offering views over the river and surrounding buildings. The...

1. The rooms are really small and very basic. No decor - no mini bar - tiny bathroom. 2. The elevators tend not to work properly - got stuck 2 times in two days. 3. Breakfast - standard 4. 12 fl bar - good. 5. Poor value for money - go across the street.

Dear "Alonket" Dear “Alonket” Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us, I am extremely sorry to learn your stay did not live up to expectations. We stayed here at the end of December and enjoyed our stay. The hotel lobby is beautiful, but the rooms and hallways lack a little in the pretty department. The elevators were sometimes a pain because you needed a key to access and it did not always work the first time. The location was great and close to the subway...

Perfect location and service for a decent and lovely journey... Must be first choice for a stay... Breakfast queue can be long for peak times and you could wait for a table longer then you expect but staff attitude makes you to forget it.

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
