An excellent location, easy to find, and I had a view of the Natural History museum from my room. Clean and tidy hotel, with thin walls. I had a tiny room on the 5th floor. There was an additional bed in the room - as a solo traveler I was placed in a room which slept three - see the... More

Absolutely perfect hotel in its prize range. It doesn't get much better for what you're charged. Rooms are clean and fresh, staff service minded. WiFi is not the fastest but it works. The only down side is the breakfast which is quite dull.

I stayed here for two nights with my girlfriend in November, and it's the first time I have stayed here. The location is excellent, only a 15 minute walk from Harrods, and a Starbucks, Tesco, Waitrose and many, many very nice restaurants all within 10 minutes of it, such as Bella Italia. The room was very small, just a double... More

Looks nice on pictures, got into the room and it was a tiny attic space! Next to main road and the windows don't block out any type of noise! Worst night sleep! Also pillows are very standard and beds also!

Nice and quiet hotel located in the heart of Kensigton. It's very well communicated by public transport, as there is a bus stop just on doorstep of the hotel and 2 metro stations about 5' away. The rooms are small, maybe too much for 2 people. Bed is only 135cms for two and there is almost no space to move... More

Clean and tidy hotel very well sited near the Natural History Museum in Kensington area. Though the rooms are smallish all the necessities are there and the staff very helpful. Often you just need a bed without all the extras because of the need for cost effective stay in the city.

Possibly the rudest check in I have ever experienced. Ruined my whole night. Poor check in. Poor check out. Very limited breakfast. Rot in bathroom and poorly repaired tiles and fittings. One positive: Comfortable bed and nice sheets.

The phrase swing a cat comes to mind with this hotel room. I have stayed in hotels in London, Paris and New York previously where space is a premium, this took the biscuit. Yes, I had booked for a single room, but this was ridiculous considering the price. There was enough room for the bed and the wardrobe/night stand, just.... More

My partner and I stayed here for one night on the 23rd October. We read from the reviews it was small but didn't quite anticipate how small. For a one night stay to lay your head it is fine but it did remind me of student halls. We had a double bed, a tv, tea and coffee facilities, a hair... More

Stayed here Tuesday 2nd November for 1 night, in Lindon for training on 3rd. The hotel has been modern used and is smartly decorated, clean and modern. Helpful staff and check in easy. I booked a single room but was given a twin, it had everything required for my stay and was very comfortable. The location is excellent , 5... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
