This is a great hotel with a great location! 👏🏼 It is close to museums, a walk away to the tube, shops and restaurants! Although the room was small it was clean and tidy and the staff were lovely. 👍🏼

The Hotel is as I described it in the title, not bad considering the location. The good thing is the location. It has 2 metro station close by and a bus stop right in front. I like going about in London with the bus so it was perfect. maximum 2 changes and you could go anywhere within 20-30 min. Also...

Although the rooms are small (double bed only 4' wide) they are perfectly OK for a few days. There is not enough wardrobe space for a week but ideal for a short city break. The rooms are clean, bath towels are huge, soft and fluffy, shampoo and soap provided plus having a kettle with tea and coffee in the room...

My booking boasted a family room with air con and landmark view. The reality was a tiny basement room with a tiny double bed and single squashed together, no view whatsoever except a brick wall and dodgy air con. Upon complaining to reception I was told they couldn't move my room and refused to refund my money so I could...

Location: Fantastic. Near National History Musuem and many restaurants and shops in walking distances. Walking distance to Gloucester Underground takes about 10mins and Harrods takes about 20mins. Rooms: Quality: Very clean and very small. Size: Suitable only for Single Travelers/ Business Travelers or 2 Friends traveling together. The triple room is very tiny which you don't even have space to...

Rooms are quite confortable and cozy and bathrooms are clean. Great location (just a couple meters away from museums and Gloucester Road underground station). Staff are polite, but they could be more pleasant to hotel guests. Bad internet connection, situation fixed with my mobile data. Probably, a place to return in my next vacation to London.

If I come back to London I will definitely stay in this hotel again. The location is great, the underground is just one minute away on foot and you have three different lines (Piccadilly line, District line and Central line) and you are in zone 1. I could see the Natural History Museum from my window as it is just...

We stayed here for one night only. We booked it as it was close to the Albert Hall. The hotel is in a very good location. Walking distance to museums, Albert Hall, Hyde Park and Gloucester Road tube station. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only down side is the traffic noise, but wasn't too bad with double...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
