Arrived on the 4th of July and stayed for 6 nights. We picked this hotel because the great location, and because we could get a room with two double beds for me, my wife, and my 16-year-old daughter. The Hilton nearby and most other hotels in London seemed to require that we get two rooms for three adults. Also, the...

Dear ZGare, I am very pleased that you made what was described as "a very good choice for your family". I note also that you had a fantastic, energetic and event filled 6 days. That's just the way to do it as far as I am concerned. Thank you also for your very detailed feedback, I am certain prospective guests...

Reciting the words, 'Holiday Inn Mayfair' after making the last moment, internet booking, perhaps does not exude hospitality or charm. However, once over the price (largely my look-out) and the traditional Heathrow 630am landing, 8am greeting on check in "See you at 12 or 1, when your room will be ready......", one warms to this hotel off Piccadilly. The room...

Okay, so it`s a 4 star Holiday Inn, so it is pretty much the same as any other 4 star Holiday Inn on the planet, there is very little to keep you or your kids (if you have any) occupied in the hotel, but that suited us fine, as we only wanted use of the bed and breakfast facilities. The...

Dear GT390, Many thanks for leaving a review. I note that you mentioned you would think of seeking another hotel if your stay was to last longer than 2 nights because of cost. Please do check either on-line or our in-house reservation for our best deal before making a final decision, because we often have some stunning deals. I am...

I booked 5 nights using points. Usually we get something for using points, but not here. That is fine. We were lucky to start getting new perks for some priority members, mainly free wifi. Room: Spacious enough for 4. We had room to move about. Our room faced the street, but the only noise we heard was the trash man...

Outstanding location, walking distance to Buckingham Palace and Picadilly Circus, steps from the subway, plenty of convenience stores nearby, close to the Royal Academy. A tourist's dream. Rooms are decent and spacious, staff is friendly. However, that is got to be the lousiest, cheapest, most depressive hotel breakfast ever, a far cry from the picture. Them precious pounds will be...

The Holiday Inn, is typical of many generic chain hotels, standard decor, robotic staff, good cleanliness... however this one is in a gem of a location especially if your a tourist. Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
