Reviews summary
This summary was created by AI, based on recent reviews.

The InterContinental London Park Lane is lauded for its luxurious amenities, such as the Club Lounge and fitness center, with guests often praising its cleanliness and well-maintained premises. Although the hotel's rooms are celebrated for their comfort and modernity, some travelers suggest updates are needed and have experienced issues with room assignments. While the service is generally commended for being attentive, there have been occasional grievances regarding service charges and professionalism.
The hotel's ambiance is described as elegant, with live music adding to its sophistication. Its central location is a hit among guests for the convenience it offers. However, the hotel's pricing and unexpected charges at checkout have been points of contention for many, impacting their perception of value.

Hotel's Favourite
The Park Lane Intercontinental is one of my favorite hotels in the world. Truly “world Class”.
From the moment I arrive the friendly door staff greet me by name and assist with my luggage. As a
Diamond tier member I am greeted again at check in and upgraded. Amenities are waiting for me in my room along with a note from the manager. Time to settle into the bar for a cocktail and some small bites. The food here is very very good. And the selection is outstanding. I always make it a point to book the Club Floor lounge. One of the finest in the IHG universe. With customized breakfast offerings and a fine buffet. And never miss a chance to dine at Theo Randall. One of my favorite Italian restaurants in London. All in all a fantastic home away from home while on business. Thank you to all my friends at The Park Lane Intercontinental.

My husband and I recently booked a stay at the InterCon Park Lane for work for 5 days. We are fortunate to stay at many lovely hotels during our travels, and The InterCon Park Lane is now a favorite. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, housekeeping discreet and thorough, the staff always willing to put forth the extra effort to make guests feel at home and welcomed.
I would like to especially thank Maria Nieto, for her gracious handling of our room transfer, necessitated by the arrival of high-level dignitaries and their staff. Maria made our transition from room to room seamless and effortless. Small problems like these are common when traveling, but Maria and her staff addressed and solved them in a way that builds brand loyalty. You can be sure the Intercon Park Lane will be our hotel of choice when we are in our favorite city.
Tip: If you have a chance, try the Ella Canta on-site restaurant. Truly excellent experience (and if you're lucky, you'll have Dorena and Leonitis as your servers).

We spend a wonderful night at the Intercontinental Park Lane for a special celebration. We had a thoroughly memorable stay and were very well looked after by the entire hotel staff.
We arrived by car and were quickly offered help with luggage and our car was swiftly taken away and valet parked. Check in was swift and efficient and both IHG status as well as the reason for our stay were both acknowledged.
We received an upgrade to a Deluxe room which overlooked the Wellington Arch, Green Park and Buckingham Palace Gardens. Although the wood furnishings in the room are beginning to show their age, everything else in the room was in top condition from floor to ceiling. Everything was spotlessly clean. I loved the oversized dressing gown and exceptionally soft towels in the bathroom. Complimentary Agraria bathroom products were provided. The room was also stocked with tea and coffee making facilities.
The manager greeted us on arrival and asked when it would be a good time for a complimentary celebration treat to be brought to our room. That was a very kind gesture and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
The hotel was quiet, clearly a sign of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic but our stay allowed us to feel a small return to normality. That said, the Club Intercontinental lounge was not open. Instead, a number of alternative options are provided throughout the day. We enjoyed afternoon tea at the Arch Bar and breakfast at Theo Randall. Evening house selection drinks and canapés were also served at the Arch Bar but we had other plans and did not partake in this. Breakfast was served a la carte with a variety of options, both hot and cold. The food was freshly prepared and of excellent quality. The restaurant staff were very welcoming and helpful.
Overall, this was a great stay and would certainly recommend the hotel. We were well looked after.

As much I love the Intercontinental hotel itself, the sole reason of my recent visit was to enjoy a relaxing massage after a nice day out with my best girl friend on the Sunday that just passed. The two stars are predominantly for the location, concierge and the lovely ladies at the SPA.
Both my friend and I booked a 90 minute deep tissue massage, at the end we both agreed it was possibly one of our least favourites. A few things I wanted to point out:
1. Upon arrival, there was no one at the SPA reception , so we made ourselves comfortable in the waiting area. That meant it delayed the start time of the massage and we ended up receiving the treatment less than 90 minutes than we were supposed to.
2. We were brought to our treatment rooms and the lady asked a few questions prior to the massage. This included "pressure of the massage" - I answered medium, "would you like a head massage" - I answered no, etc. At the end I was unpleasantly surprised that the masseuse massaged both my head and face. Not to mention that the pressure was not even close light.
3. After the massage, I intended to take a shower as the treatment room facilitated a shower and my whole body was left with massage oil residue. The shower did not work. I came out and spoke to my friend, who mentioned her masseuse wiped her whole body with a hot towel to remove the excess massage oil which I did not receive.
I am extremely disappointed with the massage, comparing Park Lane to the O2 Intercontinental, I much prefer the latter. I do not recommend if anyone is interested in using the spa facilities at this branch.

My Husband booked us a night here as a gift to me for my 30th birthday and the experience was incredible. Beginning with the staff members, all of them were so lovely and accommodating , making us feel very welcome. The interior is absolutely stunning.
The location is great because walking is very easy as everything is close together especially underground tube stations. There are cabs always outside just incase you don’t want to walk.
The room was beautiful, beautiful furniture, comfortable bed and compliments are left in the bathroom for you to use and enjoy if need be.

I've just had the most amazing hotel stay at the Intercontinental London Park Lane for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee weekend.
As I had tickets for the Platinum Part at the Palace I wanted to be walking distance to the venue and this hotel is ideally located just the other side of Green Park.
I booked a newly refurbished Mayfair rooms and it did not disappoint. My room was just perfect. I love the decor and the bathroom was incredible. The bed is super comfortable and I was really impressed with the attention to detail in the bedroom and bathroom that made my stay more enjoyable.
Breakfast was outstanding with a wide variety of items to choose from on a hot and cold buffet as well as items you can order from a menu. Service was quick, efficient and friendly.
The Club Lounge was also excellent with friendly and attentive staff, delicious snacks and drinks available and lovely quiet areas and outstanding views.
What made my stay exceptional though was the service from the team. Every single person I encountered made me feel very welcome and exceeded my expectations.
Special mentions have to go to Yu Heng, who check me me in, who was delightful and made me feel a valued guest. Also Sylwia and Sofia on reception and Sandra in the breakfast room all delivered outstanding customer care.
I was super impressed by this hotel and I can't wait to return.

We stayed here for one night for my partners birthday and had an absolutely beautiful stay, all staff were very friendly, helpful and really couldn't have done enough from the moment we arrived to make our stay special.
Situated behind Buckingham Palace the hotel was very central and close to an underground station allowing easy access to the sights of London.
The hotel is beautifully presented with flowers, very clean and smells delightful.
Our room on the 7th floor had lovely view of the park, was very spacious, cleaned to a high standard with a huge comfortable bed and even included an extra surprise for the mans birthday.
We also did afternoon tea the following day which was absolutely perfect. It was very relaxed and took place in a gorgeous lounge with a very talented pianist. The food was delicious and the service provided by a lovely lady named Ling was very informative and so attentive.

I’ve posted a few reports about the Park Lane Intercontinental. Recurring themes have been IHG brand values, great location, 2 great restaurants on site and a general wow factor. On my last visit all this still applied. But this time we treated ourselves to Club Lounge access (Ambassador members get a discount on the daily supplement if it’s not included in ur room category). It takes a stay at the Intercontinental to a whole new level. We were fortunate enough to enjoy all the key facilities - afternoon tea, pre dinner drinks with canapés, after dinner coffee and breakfast. All excellent and served impeccably by charming staff. Icing on the cake is the stunning view over Hyde Park Corner - imo the best view of any such lounge in London. So all in all another wonderful stay - look forward to our next one soon.

This hotel is what every other hotel would love to be. The rooms are gorgeous and spacious and well kitted out. The staff are courteous and helpful. The whole hotel is kept spotless with even more visible signs of keeping germs away at this time of the covid virus. The bar areas are comfy and spacious and the added bonus of Theo Randall resteraunt makes this hotel a great place to relax and chill out .
