One street north of Hyde Park, this is a quiet refuge and just a 5 minutes to Central line tube stop. The lobby area has seating, there is a nice bar and the dining room is bright and airy. Room was a good size for London, with a small desk, table and chair. Carpet was clean but frayed in one...

My daughter and I stayed at the Lancaster for about a week recently. For a tourist looking for convienance of location for the city, resturants and cost, I would highly recommend this hotel. The hotel is located close to multiple Underground locations, Resturants and Paddington station. Our room was small but more than met our needs. In room Internet is...

I was lucky enough to attend the FSM awards evening at the Lancaster Hotel which was superb - the venue, food and service was excellent. I will be returning in August to stay in the hotel to make the most of it's great location.

Our room was in the basement which we found to be very dark with low ceilings. The room was clean, but a little outdated. The ceiling in the shower was so low my husband had a difficult time showering. The complimentary breakfast buffet was very nice. The location was very close to metro stops which made it easy to navigate...

Stayed here with work as normal hotel was fully booked due to it being Easter holidays. Staff are friendly. Room outdated. Bed really really hard and uncomfortable. Pillows low and hard. Tried the extra ones in the wardrobe but not much better. Dirty grouting around bath/shower and built in hairdryer sounded like it was going to come off the wall...

I stayed there for 12 days and I will definitely stay there again if came to visit London. It is opposite to Hyde park and it is a few stations away from oxford street. You buy the Oyster card from the shop around the corner. And there is a great Greek restaurant right beside it. The single rooms are better...

The room was a little dated but had everything you need for a few nights stay. I didn't get much sleep due to my room being right outside the lifts and steps. The location was fantastic I usually stay in Kensington but would happily stay around here next time. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

I booked this hotel as I was going to an event at the nearby Lancaster Hotel. The Lancaster Gate was very reasonably priced and nearby so I booked. It doesn't have facilities like a pool or gym, but if you are looking for a base to explore London, or don't have much free time for relaxing, then this is OK....

Lancaster Gate Hotel is the perfect location when visiting London. It is an older full service hotel located just north of Hyde Park. A very nice, safe and quiet area. The hotel staff is excellent and everyone went out of their way to help. The underground station closest to the hotel is temporarily closed but there is another station a...
