I opted to meet a new employee here and took a bit of a chance as it is very upmarket. We where greeted by the two main barmen and to be honest treated like royalty. WE spent almost 2 hours there in the end. After 45 mins and some conversation with the Barmen we realised that they specialised in Gin... More

My wife and I spent three nights at the Marriott London County Hall. Great location right on the Thames and very close to Big Ben. Excellent staff. Highly recommend. We did have to walk a long way to our room.

First time in London - This hotel is extremely well run...definitely a first class operation...and it was obvious upon our arrival...Christer at the front desk was knowledgeable about the local Pubs and dining options...and exhibited a positive welcoming demeanor...Christer made a good first impression of the UK... the Maitre D at the restaurant was attentive and engaging each and every... Walking distance to so many London staples, if you only have limited time in London, Marriott County Hall is right in the heart of London, but easily accessible by taxi (or Uber) as well as the Tube. The lobby was under construction during our stay, and we didn't get a chance to make it to tea due to time constraints,... More

9 of us had afternoon tea for our Christmas get together. From the moment we walked in until we left we received exceptional service. We had a lovely long table in the library with a view of the Thames. We had gone for the unlimited bubbles option, which was sparkling wine and not champagne, but still very nice. A nice... More

We stayed for one night paying £420 for a double. Room and bathroom was very comfortable without being deluxe. Large double bed was very comfortable, direct views of London Eye and South Bank. The building was previously government offices - its large and impressive, the hotel has done pretty well with interesting modern art. Not at the true five star... More

Just finished a great 5 day trip to London with the family, including our 11 and 14 year old daughters. Stayed in an executive Big Ben view. Wow! View was amazing from the room. Spacious room by city standards, comfortable bed and linens. Perfect location for exploring the city. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The executive lounge breakfast... More

Myself and two friends had afternoon tea with limitless prossecco in the Library. It was fab!! Beautiful table with views over the river Thames and Big Ben, lovely welcoming staff who kept us topped up with prossecco and tea, we could have had more to eat but we were too full. Staying in Southbank

Neighbourhood Profile
Big time attractions such as the London Eye and a thriving theatre scene (compliments of the National Theatre and the Young Vic) are but a few of the reasons that Southbank is such a collectively cherished part of town. With plenty of family friendly activities and venues lined up along a pedestrianized river bank between Westminster Bridge and Waterloo Bridge, visitors can always expect a casual and festive atmosphere. On top of all the fun stuff to do at Southbank is the opportunity to simply sit back and admire photo-op views of iconic landmarks like Parliament and St Paul's Cathedral, just on across the Thames.
